Cheesy love and dance songs that stay stuck in your head and that all sound the same, made up of annoying 5 part harmonies, synthesizers and drum machines.

i like this song and vodieo because the people were dress good and ceppe like the beat and good voice i would give them a 5000000000000 (...)just cause its that good i want to go out with nick the rest are ugly well brain is a little cute and one more thing nick is the funny person on his musci vodieo called every body at the part when they come out of there room saying what they were but i should not say it all you should wacht how ever you spell it

I'm not gonna say that I expected better of this album,because I seriously didn't.I knew this album was going to be the start of a horrible era...the boyband era ALL OVER AGAIN!I knew that this album was going to SUCK once I heard "We Got It Goin' On".But,I have to admit,I tried to be fair and like at least one song,but I just couldn't!Every song is so damn obnoxious and so manufactured,it's almost as if you're forced not to like them,unless of course you're a girl in her teens willing to scream for any group with a little sex appeal.Sure,all the songs make you wanna kill yourself if you actually listen to GOOD music,but the most annoying are definitely "Everybody(Backstreets'Back)(back from where?)" and the horrible vomit-worthy cover of "Set Adrift On Memory Bliss".And the vocals:Lord save me now!Nick Carter sounds like a deeper version of Alanis Morisette on crack(sorry for insulting a music genius like you,Alanis)!I can't think of one good thing about this trash except that you actually like the songs for about 3 seconds until you come back to reality.Sure,they're a manufactured boy band and that's bad enough,but they could've at least given a 2-star effort!

This is an amazing debut almbum and the lyrics and vocals are very well done and executed.

WHO CAN FORGET THIS GROUP THAT CAME BY STORM IN THE '90s. THIS GROUP SHOWED THAT THEY CAN SING, DANCE AND PUT UP A GREAT SHOW, WHOEVER WENT TO THEIR CONCERT KNOWS WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT. THEY WHERE AMAZING. LISTENING TO THIS CD, BRING BACK A LOT OF MEMORIES AND TO THIS DAY I LISTEN TO IT, IT PUT YOU IN A GOOD MOOD. ALSO TRY THE SPECIAL EDITION OF THIS CD, "BACKSTREET'S BACK",(I GOT IT ON EBAY) ITS ALMOST LIKE THIS ONE BUT IT HAS LIKE 3 RARE TRACKS ON IT, LIKE "10,000 PROMISES" I LOVE THAT SONG. I GOT THEM BOTH AND ITS WORTH YOUR MONEY. I REMEMBER HAVING POSTERS ALL OVER MY WALL WHEN I WAS IN HIGH SCHOOL, OH..AND MY FAVORITE BACKSTREET BOY, BRIAN LITRELL...SO KEEP THIS IN YOUR COLLECTION, ITS A GREAT CD...

What was so appealing about these guys? Its 5 guys singing s***ty love songs (that they did not write themselves by the way) overtop of synthesizers and processed beats (that they also didn't arrange). Theres no talent there. Playing instruments, writing songs and peicing together songs takes talent. The worst part of it? They were likely inspired by New Kids On The Block, who were also horrible and completely put together by their record label (they even admitted they couldn't sing for crying out loud...). I cant wait to hear what a disaster the record their recording right now will be...

"OMG I LOVE THIS CD THEY ROCK OUT" lol...who is writing this crap??!! 10 year old girls who have no social life so they have to resort to crappy 90's pop that sucked then, and sucks even more now! Get out people and grow up a little...you want good music, check Linkin Park, or Nirvana, or Blink 182 or SOMETHING that wont get you depressed over your stupid life!!! But, if you want to continue to have no socail life, and continue to constantly be made fun of by your peers, and continue to be musicaly challenged then continue to "keep this CD and listen to it forever until you die alone and worms consume your rotton carcase..."

This was a great cd. My ratings, with 10 being the best and 0 the worst.

1. We've Got In Goin' On--They really do! Awesome song. Better than Backstreet's Back. 10/10

2. Quit Playing Games (With My Heart)--Beautiful song. Not my favorite, but really awewsome! 10/10

3. As Long As You Love Me--Starts out really sweet, then develops a beat. I like it!!!!! 10/10

4. Everybody (Backstreet's Back)--Alright. Not nearly as good as No. 1, but still alright. 7/10

5. All I Have To Give--I'm CRAZY ABOUT THIS 1!!!! It rocks! 11/10

6. Anywhere For You--A song that is much like As Long As You Love Me, but this one is beautiful just as much!! 11/10

7. Hey Mr. DJ (Keep Playin' This Song)--Keep Playing This Song over and over and over...!!!! 11/10

8. I'll Never Break Your Heart--A bit 2 soft 4 me. 8/10

9. Darlin'--See above. 7/10

10. Get Down (You're The One For Me)--Nice beat, combines soft rock and rap mixed with pop. 10/10

11. Set Adrift On Memory Abliss--Sweet song! 10/10

12. If You Want It To Be Good Girl--See No. 4. 8/10

A good CD. Not as good as in later years, but still AWESOME!!! A must-buy.
