Alan Dargin is a brilliant player but this CD is not so hot,

The sound on this CD is weird--some of the pieces seem as if they were recorded in a tunnel. For what ever reason, the dynamics, the sound, the overall effect is either distorted, muted, or otherwise bad. Dargin is a totally brilliant player and a very interesting person, but this CD does nothing to show off his talent. Sad.

In my opinion, this albums stands for creative playing und using the didgeridoo as a instrument for music and entertainment. Alan Dargin just proves, that he is one of the masters in this genre. Everyone who is bored whith all the "normal" Didgeridoo albums should check this out. For me the first track is the top of what is possible on this instrument....

Alan Dargin really knows how to play this magical aboriginal instrument. The music on this album completely invalidates the sometimes-heard misconception of the didgeridu as a droning, boring instrument. It's got energy and style.
