5.0 out of 5 stars Great video
This is one of the greatest videos I've ever seen. If you've ever been to a Day Out With Thomas yourself, you'll like it even more! The video has a nice selection of stories. I like Old Iron (James, Edward), Mavis (Mavis and Toby), Percy's Ghostly Trick (Percy, Thomas, Toby), Thomas and Bertie's Great Race (Thomas and Bertie), Henry and the Elephant (Henry, James, Gordon,...

Who wants to see visitors to a "day out with Thomas"and hear what they have to say about Thomas and company? Who wants tosee that lady's gum as she talks about how her older son wanted to name the younger one Thomas the Tank Engine (they compromised and cut off the "Tank Engine" part)? Self congratulatory and annoying fill between every episode. Buy a...

I like Old Iron (James, Edward), Mavis (Mavis and Toby), Percy's Ghostly Trick (Percy, Thomas, Toby), Thomas and Bertie's Great Race (Thomas and Bertie), Henry and the Elephant (Henry, James, Gordon, Percy) - this is a good one! - and the classic, James Goes Buzz, Buzz (James, Boco, Trevor, Duck and Bill and Ben).

5.0 out of 5 stars A Medley of Wonderful Thomas, Oct 17 2003

This review is from: Thomas the Tank Engine: 10 Years of Thomas The Tank Engine & Friends (VHS Tape)
I liked this tape even though I had seen every tape on it at least a hundred times. These episodes are mainly focused on the works of George Carlin even though The Best of line of tapes were realesed with some Ringo Starr episodes redone by George Carlin. Frankly Ringo Starr was the best but I respect George Carlin too. This tape takes the best episodes thoughout George Carlin's career as narrartor. Buying this tape is a good way to get the best of the George Carlin episodes even though I could suggest some better ones.

5.0 out of 5 stars 10 years of Thomas, Sep 21 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Thomas the Tank Engine: 10 Years of Thomas The Tank Engine & Friends (VHS Tape)
This is the 2nd tape we purchased for our son (3) and he watches it frequently, to say the least. We have purchased mostly VHS, because he has learned to operate the VCR (the DVD is still too tough for him!). Two year-old loves it, too.

This is one of the best Thomas videos my 6 year old son has ever seen. The Strausburg pieces are actually very good and we should know.. we go there twice a year. All in all, well worth the money.

4.0 out of 5 stars My son was hooked, Sep 29 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Thomas the Tank Engine: 10 Years of Thomas The Tank Engine & Friends (VHS Tape)
This was our first Thomas tape and my son was hooked instantly. I've read the other reviews here, and I would agree that if you are used to the format in the older Thomas tapes you would be disappointed with this one. We liked it because it introduced a lot of the characters for us so it was a good place to start. The older tapes are definitely better. George Carlin is wonderful even though I'll admit that Ringo Starr is better.

4.0 out of 5 stars Tammy from Texas, Aug 18 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Thomas the Tank Engine: 10 Years of Thomas The Tank Engine & Friends (VHS Tape)
My 2yr found this video A+, he has not let this tape rest since we brought it home. Some reviews have criticized george carlin as the story teller and the train footage between the stories, but I thought it was a great intro into getting to know THOMAS THE TANK. This video is one you must have if you are just starting your collection or your little one is just now into Thomas. The video is 63 mins and is well worth $$.

This review is from: Thomas the Tank Engine: 10 Years of Thomas The Tank Engine & Friends (VHS Tape)
Our 3-year old loves this video. Not only does he love the stories, he loves to see the real Thomas in the Strasburg Railroad footage. It's a great introduction for a new Thomas fan.
