5.0 out of 5 stars Where did this " Fall off " term come from?
I just want to let you ALL know, Wu-tang clan has never " fallen off"? What you are calling " Falling" is simply the Wu-tang style metamorphasis. Let me break it down for all yall... If you have been a Wu fan for a while you will reconize what im talking about.. but heeeeeeeeeeeeere we gooooooo....
Their first style- probably the most trademark,...

2.0 out of 5 stars A weak sophomore effort for the Wu.
I wasn't at all impressed with this album(s). Enter the Wu-Tang was a milestone in the hip-hop era with one great track after another and this is just... weak. There are a few decent songs here, including "Reunited," "The City," & "It's Yours," but this double album could easily be pared down into one. The only real gem here is "A Better Tomorrow." It's easily one of the...

5.0 out of 5 stars Really Listen, July 15 2004
This review is from: Wu-Tang Forever (Audio CD)
This double CD compliation, will never just be "shuffled" into any kind of pile. If you were to sit down, focus and actually listen to the album you would understand what i mean. This double CD complilation is TIMELESS. No matter what comes out it can never reach the poetic balance that Wu tang have. This compilation could be listened to from beginning to end dozens of time, and each time would be a brand new experience. My ears have never heard such a masterpiece, except for 36 chambers which was the building blocks for "FOREVER". Both cds flatter each other, neither is "weaker" then the other. Disc 2 may be longer then Disc 1, however with tracks Triumph, MGM, and Projects, it is hardly "overdone". Listening to the compliation is like eating Burger King for the first time over and over again. A definate buy for anyone who wants to hear what real, calculated Hip-Hop sounds like, stories from the real, genuine artists. A timeless classic, an everyday enjoyment.
GO OUT AND BUY IT, YOU WILL APRECIATE ITS PERFECTION.

2.0 out of 5 stars Multi-Platinum over nothing, Oct. 5 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Wu-Tang Forever (Audio CD)
Ultimately, the Wu-Tang Clan lived a hard life in the gutter-life and are obviously angry from it so they deliver hardcore lyrics with depressing words and aweful production. Well this latest album is no exception. I only give it 2 stars for extra effort for a double disk and that's it. Yes, they do sell millions of records but that's cause they're largely purchased from foreign Commy's in China and what have you. Give it up guys, Wu Tang you apparently have a large rap group but that doesn't even get you anywhere when you, every now and again, come out with group Wu-Tang albums. And we all know that the solo stuff goes no where! Give it up New York!! West Coast here to stay......
