Folks, don't give your hard-earned cash to the morons in the DVD department at FOX by buying this DVD.

Spend three seconds, buy a multi-region DVD player, and buy ALL of Ally's COMPLETE seasons from Amazon's UK site. I did, and I couldn't be happier. When someone spits in your face, you don't shake their hand. FOX is spitting in your face, people. For goodness sakes, don't give them your wallet.

ENJOY THE COMPLETE SERIES ON DVD FROM THE U.K. IT'S BRILLIANT!

It's better than nothing but still...

This is not some rare show with a tiny cult-like following. Ally McBeal has a huge fan base and so many people would purchase all five seasons. It's really aggravating that all we can buy in the US and Canada are 6 episodes. It's really ridiculous. Even Freaks and Geeks is out on DVD.

IT'S TIME FOR ALLY TO BE AVAILABLE ALREADY!

While I might be inclined to believe that the seris was a cult fav, it still was extremely popular. This DVD release is an insult to all the faithful followers and just a tease to those who are unfamiliar with the ironic yet hilarious humor. There is a bit of Ally in all of us. Does Fox even know how frustrating it is to know that Ally is available in just about every country but the U.S.? I had to buy season one off a jerk on ebay and it was burnt and it sucked! I did get season four from a fabulous person in another country. Expensive song rights or not, give your loyal fans what they deserve and make it good with deleted scenes and lots of special features!!!!

Here's a DVD player that plays region 2 as well as region 1 dvd's without having to do any hacks. KOSS KS5121-2 available at Canadian Tire for around $70. Got my Ally's from amazon UK, $8 for 5 day shipping. Import duty was small - around 2%. Got Battlestar Galactica S3 too - although that might not appeal to all Ally fans.

Not sure if type of TV makes a difference with the PAL format of region 2 but on my LCD television there was no picture problems with normal Yellow/Red/White AV cables.

Don't whine about how much Fox sucks. We all KNOW how much Fox sucks. Just go around them and import all you want!

I was planning on buying this cd as a gift for an Ally Mcbeal fan but after reading the reviews I changed my mind! This show was great, I cannot believe the entire collection is not out on DVD, I'm going on amazon.co.uk to see what I find?

Ally McBeal is an American TV show so I do not understand why Americans have only been given this small bundle of episodes when over in my home country England we have ALL the seasons available with special features!

For you hardcore Ally fans I'll give you some handy advice. Save up for a multi-region dvd player or a computer that plays dvds. Go on over to amazon.co.uk and purchase the season box sets!

i am a fan of ally mcbeal and would love to be able to buy the entire series of episodes on dvd. i see sex and the city, friends, buffy, etc...there are so many people that love ally mcbeal, i would LOVE to see this set put out.

To put the pressure on, email askfox@foxinc.com to get all episodes of Ally McBeal released on DVD in the U.S.A.

Plain and simple, this is no where near the caliber that is expected of FOX and this disgraceful erray of episodes from the first season only, is not enough the satify anyone. FOX really needs to think about where they would make the most money and here, in the US, should be the FIRST place it should have been released in because, and no offense, this is OUR show, filmed in OUR country, with OUR actors and actresses.

$35 for six episodes?! You've got to be kidding me! "Ally McBeal" is one of my favorite shows of all time, and for some reason Fox still hasn't released each complete season on DVD. They're available in Europe, but not in the USA! I don't understand it. I also don't understand why so many stupid things are being released on DVD these days, and there are no plans to release "Ally McBeal." It's disgraceful.
