i remember watching this movie when it first came out,and thinking it
was a scream.but,after just watching it again today,i have a different
opinion.sure,there are a few very funny parts,but for the most part,i
just found the movie silly.it definitely is not for anyone easily
offended,that's for sure.this certainly isn't the worst movie i've ever
seen,and as a spoof,it's OK.it certainly does lampoon a few horror
movie and even some non horror movie,with varying degrees of
success.ironically it almost works better as a horror movie than a
spoof,in my mind.it is certainly watchable and not boring.it just isn't
as funny as i originally remembered it.for me,Scary movie is about a
2.75/5

This has to be the funnoest movie ever I watched it like 100 times and never get tired of it infact after this imma go watch it again, so if u didnt see this yet u better rent because this movie will make u laugh ur ass off

Not a five-star film... that's for special movies. But you need to see this!! Yes, the humor is kind of overdone/over the top and/or truly sick at times, but that just adds to it. There are so many films being parodied you lose track, but you almost NEVER stop laughing. This is one worth owning, seriously!

i thought it was very crude and disgusting, but kinda funny in a way. like, for example, i don't think that a guy shoving his penis through another guy's ear or someone taking a pic of a guys small penis is funny. but i think that a woman trying to get through a whole in a garage door is funny, lol. but i guess it was alright. i give it 3-1/2 stars

Scary Movie is basically a lame parody of Scream and I Know What You Did Last Summer. Like the manufactuer's description, if youv'e seen Scream and I Know What You Did, then you know the whole movie. There are a few funny jokes, especailly at the beggining with Carmen Electra, but the movie gets weirder as it continues.Basically the only reason someone would ever buy this crap would be either they really hated the two originals or just really, really like them.The killer, who some call Smiley due to his smiling scream mask at Halloween, however, is alright at playing Mr. Ghostface. So in otherwords, this movie is low in the Spaceballs level. Please, watch the originals if you want a good slaher flick. Or go get a comedy like Mr. Deeds or Anger Management. Comedy and Horror just don't mix.

Scary Movie is a hilarious movie, starring Anna Faris as Cindy, and my favorite character, the stoner Shorty. The movie begins, with a hilarious scene, which is the perfect parody of Scream's first scene. For example, Drew answers the killers question of what's your favorite scary movie by saying Kazaam, the one where Shaq plays a genie. There are many other hilarious moments and one liners, like when the murder hides from our heroine Cindy behind a couch. However, there are some extremely sick parts, like when Ray goes into the bathroom, but don't let the few parts like that stop you from seeing this hilarious movie, but I do suggest that if you haven't Scream, you might want to see that first.

Well All Of The New Horror Movies To Come out In The last 5-8 Years or So Are Spoofed In This Very Funny Parody Of horror Movies.The Plot Is basically Makes Fun Of Scream And I Know What U Did Last Summer Throwing in Cliches To the Sixth Sense And The Blair Witch Project.The Waynes Brothers Put The Best Proformece In The Movie Along With Anna Faris.Great Spoof A Must Own For comedy And Spoof Lovers

THE PLOT: There wasn't much of one... It's basically about these teens who accidentally kill this guy, and 2 of them go insane from it. And then, a charecter that we don't know who (I won't ruin it, but it makes no sense), starts killing people off for no apparent reason. Then, he gets away. The end.

MY OPINION: The movie was WAY overrated. Scary Movie 3 was hilarious, because it had different screenwriters. This movie was pretty much just disgusting throughout the entire thing. Skip it and move on to 3, please.

SPECIAL FEATURES: The spcieal features were almost aas bad as the movie itself (I won't go that far, because that would just be MEAN).

OVERALL RATING: D.

This film was a definately different twist to the gross out comedy genre. I will give the film that, it is different, but comedies like these lack substance and are ultimately pointless. Scary Movie was sick, and not entirely funny. The script, the idea, and the concept were not worth putting on film. It may have raked in some cash, but if the movie industry is not going to care about film quality and greatness, and only about money and box office revenue, the film industry may has well stop making movies all together. Do not see this movie if you like films that are serious and potentially could be a classic. I would reccomend this mmovie for any fan of gross out humor. Trust me there is plenty of it in this film.

This is the dumbest movie I have ever seen. It is Sick, Sick, Sick,. It makes scream I Know what you Did Last Summer look stupid stupid stupid stupid . The efects are crap crapy crapy. The must vile movie series ever made.

Am buddy who watches this series, is weird, dumb, or a fool. Don't watch this six movie ug or its sequels. This movie sucks sucks sucks sucks sucks. For the love of horrror it sucks. I hope the people who directed it go bankrupt.

I rather watch dumb Chukey and day thant this.
