Best Game since GT2!!!!!!!!!!!,

Gran Turismo 2 is one of my favourite racing games. My mum bought a PS2 to play it. but the free games with my PS2 are tedious. Gran Turismo 3 has fewer cars than Gran Turismo 2. but has a few more tracks. The graphics beat 989's Formula One 2001 which I'm steering clear of. I got it today with Crash Bandicoot. My other disc of Crash Bandicoot broke. Gran Turismo 3 is too much better than my SNES games. Buy this.

The superlatives that exist really dont describe the breadth and length of this game. I had bought the console and was looking for a game that would really show off the Playstations abilities, I am not sure whether this is really the case with GT3 but this game is astounding. Colors, graphics and car content is really awesome. After a couple of weeks of 'getting' into how the game works, I took the plundge and decided to try and do the full story, and now at 68% completed and some 8months later (I still want to remain married !!) it really is addictive... I said to myself that I wouldn't buy the GT4 until I had finished the GT3, thanks to the guys in Polophony that launch date has been pushed back !!.WHAT A GAME, no wonder it is one of the most sold games for the PS2, or is it a simulator.....

Most Realistic Racing Game I Have Ever Played,

This game is one of the first and still one of the best games produced for Play Station 2. It has stunning graphics, a good selection of courses and a vast array of sweet cars. There are a few different modes such as Arcade Mode (you can use any car the game has). The Carreer Mode is very deep. It lets you buy cars from all major and notable automobile manufacturers from VW to Honda. It also has a lot of Italian and concept cars. One of my favorite features is the ability to buy upgrades such as tires and racing chips. And you can save your cars and everything you change on them in the Garage (memory card required, of course.) The creators of this game left no detail overlooked, from the chrome hubcaps, to rich green grass, to multi-angle replays, to the crisp reflection on your $2 million Corvette after you put it through the Car Wash. This game is a must for every PS2 owner, rancing fan or not.

This is a preety good game basedon graphics and gameplay but the downside is there is only about 130 cars or so to some people this might seem like alot but to hardcore racing fans i say wait till granturismo 4 comes out there is supposed tobe around 500 cars 100 tracks and picture enhanced backgrounds which means extremely good graphics.so if your a casual racecar game player this is a good choice hint if you do buy this game and if u have enough money buy the pagani zonda and upgrade it all the way IT SUPER SUPER FAST YOULL LOVE IT!

this game offers sooo much. it's probably the most valued game to ever be released. the graphics are timless, the gameplay is very exciting and fun, and the style of the game is cool and done very well. there are endless upgrades and cars in this game. the tracks never get old and the races themselves can go on for hours, which is a very tiering bit of realism that is fondly accepted. good game

Poor driving simulation,
By A Customer
This review is from: Gran Turismo 3 (Video Game)
After the incredibly realistic driving simulator Gran Tourismo 2, I expected GT 3 to be an easy buy. I was so certain that Sony couldn't mess up on this game that I almost bought it without renting first. The biggest problem is that GT 3 is no longer a driving simulator !!!! All cars feel extremely fake compared to GT 2. I upgraded a sports car to the top of its capability and then noticed the game changing driving dynamics to compensate and make the game more "challenging"!? GT 3 feels just all other looser racing games, sorry. Another big problem is that there are only 20 or so cars in the game. Unlike the 200+ cars found in GT 2, which, by the way, all had their correct handling/braking/etc. properties, including exhaust sounds. The graphics of GT 3 are a bit overrated too. The cars just look like they have too much wax. I prefer the look of GT 2 much more. The gloving disk brakes are cool for about the first hour of gameplay. Yet another problem is the replay camera, which is nowhere nearly as alive as it was in GT 2. It is rather dull compared to GT 2. I honestly think that some other people worked on Gran Tourismo 3. What happened to those who made the spectacular-in-every-way Gran Tourismo 2? Good thing the renting cost was a fair $3, unlike today's $6 game renting. This game turned out to such a disappointment, that if I had bought it first, I would have probably given up games altogether. Due to luck and low-cost renting, the console game industry continues to see my money. |
