Now this game has gotten great reviews. A lot of my freinds have it and love it. But I just dont understand why. Wiping out is cool and a lot of fun on the stunt mode and thats why I gave it the 2 stars. Racing is boring. I tjought ATVs would of worked but I guess they didnt.

Better just stick to cars and motorcycles.

The problems with this game are sensitivity and vehicle control. If you crash it will put you last in the pack and you may never catch up. Some levels are hard to pass because of this issue. Also, you must steer and land accurately or you'll be thrown off the ATV and might lose the race.

Overall, the game play is fun, but just a little difficult to control.

I know someone whos got this game and when were playing it it doesn't get boring at all.

this game is great. the racing is really fun but practice mode is the best! the tracks are massive with lots of stuff to do. the wipe outs are the highlight of this game. you can drive off a jump, beef it and the rider is 100 feet away from the atv! that is cool.

I don't know...maybe I'm just spoiled by the SSX Snowboarding series. This ATVOF game seems slow and repetitive to me. My 6-year old daughter and I just don't feel the enthusiasm for this game (I'd say the same about WaveRunner).

Our first game, SSX Snowboarding (and it's sequel "Tricky" ) is still the most exciting game we have. If you enjoy the fast-paced action of the SSX games, you'll be bored with the slower and repetitive action of ATVOF. ...

So I saw that ATV offroad fury 2 just came out and so I dusted off this old gem. I had forgotten what a great game this was! This is definitely a bargan at $20. Froim what I heard, Sony has taken all the things that make this game good and then threw in a killer soundtrack and fixed all the complaints for Offroad Fury 2! This game is a must for any racing gamer. Go get it!

My youngest son ( age 10) has been BEGGING me for this game for Christmas, after trying it out at the store myself, I decided it was a definate must buy. Great graphics, fast action and perfect for all ages. I am always relieved when i can find a non violent fun game for my kids. Now, the only challenge is
keeping the secret that "Santa" will be bringing him ATV Off Road Fury for Christmas....

I've been around the video game's for some time and it's motocross or jet ski's im very glad that sony came out with the four wheeler's waited along time for this one to appear.I think sony is doing a great job and i cant wait to play the second part to this one,i would also like to see a better snowmobiling game thats just like the atv of road where you can pick differ sleds compete in stadium racing,stunt's and so on im giving this one 5 star's way to go sony around of an applause for a good succes.

When i got my PS2 I got three games, ATV offroad fury, a snowboarding game and one other. But every time I go to play the PS2 I always put in the ATV offroad fury. I have over 20 games and I like ATV offroad fury the best, i always turn back to the ATV game. Im sure that ATV 2 will be better then part one. I just wish that they would have put the Yamaha Raptor in the game so that you could get it from the start, but you have to win it.

This game is available... these days. It is a fun game, but it didn't keep my interest for too long. I would have preferred this game if it had all the real ATV models, instead of using a bunch of fictitious ATV's mixed with real ones. I realize they are trying to push current ATV's but the best quads ever made were the 2-cycles of the late 80's.
