Le meilleur des trois,

Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Empire Earth (CD-ROM)

The best Strategy Game Ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!,
By A Customer
This review is from: Empire Earth (CD-ROM)
unlike any other strategy's that focus on one "era" Empire Earth Gives you the whole history of the world and some more. It's got Air, Land and Sea Combat and you can summon sweet natural Disasters at your command. you can also pick what you want to upgrade on a certain unit (Ex: HP, Flying time, Attack Power, Defence ETC...). This is THE best game i've played in ages.

Excellent multi-player game,

This review is from: Empire Earth (CD-ROM)
This is a terrible single player game. Like most, the AI is either too simple a child could win or nearly impossible to win. As a multi-player game it is much better. With a player that can actually adapt to your strategy it really makes for intense battles. I have had this game for 2 years and still play it.

The Best RTS game on the market.,

This review is from: Empire Earth (CD-ROM)
Outstanding!Marvelous!A masterpiece! Are some of the name given to Empire Earth and they are very true. EE has proved to be the best RTS in the market right now.Let Me explain why: 14 epochs spanning 100,000 years of history. But this game ha its cons too. Let me explain the game:this game is about making a strong civilization and defeating the others, this gameis like a mix of AOE(Age of empires)and civilization. You can play starting from the dark age all the way up to the nano age. So What are you waiting for go out And buy it!!!!

this product was the worst and shouldn't be purchased if you don't want to throw 20 dollars down the drain. HORRIBLY DONE. sierra should have been disposed of and a better company like the creators of Medeival total war should make another game. SO THINK AGAIN IF YOU PLAN TO BUY IT. it is boring and nothing is realistic especially the graphics, for example the people are larger than the house. so don't buy this...............for your own sake!

Settlers and Civ,
By
This review is from: Empire Earth (CD-ROM)
I have never played Age of Empires so I cannot say too much about that game. I like Empire Earth however. In some ways it looks like the incredibly funny Settlers games and it has some aspects of Civilization. You start in the stone age with rock throwers and through 12 epochs end up in the future. Sometimes the computer is tough, even in the easy game but it makes it more challenging. Definitely worth the price.

It is just an all around good game from an educational standpoint and a action and strategy player standpoint. It covers so many years you get to see how the world reletively developed.

this game is awesome!!! a ton of people make bad comments on it but, those aren't true! here are some good stuff abut this gamespanning 500,000 years from the prehistoric age to the middle ages to the WW2 age and to the nano age of the future! lots of different units from rock throwers to swords men to archers to tanks to atomic bombers to bazookas and robots! different maps like highlands, mediterranian and small islands! some bad things are... 4 different campaigns are litterally impossible when playing against the computer it is impossible to win unless you use cheats EMPIRE EARTH ROCKS!(...)

Complex Game with Limited AI,
By A Customer
This review is from: Empire Earth (CD-ROM)
Being a big fan of the Age of Empire series, I didn't hesitate to buy this game. Although there's a certain level of complexity in having the game evolve through different ages and technology, I found that the AI in the game had similar shortcomings as with Age of Empires. If one is playing through ages, the game is pretty tough with 7 other AIs playing against you. As with Age of Empires, however, the game gets pretty dull if you're playing a fixed time period. The highlands terrains are always the most difficult because you have porous frontiers but, once you establish your territory; the AI seems to lose its will to fight pretty quickly. What you have then is just hours of expanding your territory without much resistance; the time taken is just to move your units and finishing off what's left of the AI. The graphics are great and the game is difficult in the evolutionary mode: but the advantage is in the overkill of the technology and not the AIs sophistication: this is made evident in the fixed period games. The graphics are great though and the weaponry is extensive. |
