5.0 out of 5 stars Say what you will but...
This is a pretty good album. I got it when I was only 13 and now years later I can still enjoy it. Sure, it's a re-release of Totally Pokémon, but at the time I couldn't find it and I found that the tracks were on this soundtrack. Basically this is Totally Pokémon V. 1.2, and if you don't already have Totally Pokémon this is definitley worth...

3.0 out of 5 stars Could've been better...
The CD starts off really, really good. I just love the movie intro to Pokemon the 3rd movie. Unfortunately, there's only three new songs(two being the good intro to the CD) and the rest comes from the Totally Pokemon CD. I was hoping that there would be more new songs to it. I think it's because the record studio couldn't find anybody who would compose some new songs for...

This is a pretty good album. I got it when I was only 13 and now years later I can still enjoy it. Sure, it's a re-release of Totally Pokémon, but at the time I couldn't find it and I found that the tracks were on this soundtrack. Basically this is Totally Pokémon V. 1.2, and if you don't already have Totally Pokémon this is definitley worth it.

This CD features all the Pokémon Karaokemon tracks in their full version, the intro to Pokémon Johto Journeys, a remix that was in the movies (and is even better than the original), and some other tracks like the catchy Pokémon GS, and other songs such as He Drives Me Crazy, Biggest Part of my Life and others, as well as Karaoke versions of three of the Karaokemon tracks and To Know the Unknown, the ending sequence of the third movie. If you don't mind Pokémon-themed music, this is definitley a good CD and I'd recommend it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Pretty Good CD., Jan 2 2004

This was a pretty good CD. I believe that it did very well and I absolutely do not concur with the concurrence that KOCH records is very bad at making compilations. This was a great cd. Instant favorites on this CD was 6 and 11, all the others that came in eventually, was 1,3,and 7. Very good CD. I really enjoyed it, and you (and/or your kids...) should too!

4.0 out of 5 stars Pretty good, but..., Sep 20 2003
This review is from: Pokemon 3 the Ultimate Soundtrack (2001 Film) (Audio CD)
The booklet is nice. It includes the lyrics and has a poster of the pokemon.
The songs are nice{I didn't like a lot of them though}.
My favorites are:
#1
#2
#4
#6
#7
#11
The other songs are okay but not that good.
I don't think it would be worth it to get rid of this cd, even though I'm not a big Pokemon fan{ I don't just collect Pokemon, as you already know}. But if you are a big- 100%- absolute- fan -in a -got to get everything way- than you might want to get this. If not I don't think you'd want to regret it.

Being interested primarily in score music, I bought this CD mainly for my two nephews, who are both Pokemon mad. I have the soundtracks from the previous two movies and, while they are okay in general, there are only a few songs off each that I really enjoy listening to over and again.
I was stunned (and thrilled), upon purchasing the Pokemon 3 soundtrack, to discover the second disk was dedicated entirely to score music. I have little interest in the lame songs from the TV show itself. I took my nephews to see the 3rd movie in the cinema, and it was the music above and beyond anything else that really caught my attention. I held off on buying the CD for so long, though, because I thought it was just a mixture of those same old ridiculous songs (ie, Two Perfect Girls), and just the one medley of music from the movie.
I half wish I had bought it sooner, now, though I would have had to pay much more than what I actually did. (I got the double CD for just five dollars)
Of all the tracks on the score, track 6 would have to be my favourite. It has all the energy and tension that made sitting through a movie a halfway enjoyable experience. The other tracks (I can't provide a name for any of them, because there was no track list provided for the score CD) were all just as good, and there was a nice added bonus of the 'Legend Comes to Life', Lugia's theme from the Pokemon 2000 CD.
All in all, the addition of a full score CD to this collection has made it one hundred percent worth having.

1.0 out of 5 stars Potatos, good for the soul., Nov 22 2002
This review is from: Pokemon 3 the Ultimate Soundtrack (2001 Film) (Audio CD)
Eat a potato today! Try potatos! They're grrrrrrrreat!
Even turnips agree! Try them, mashed, baked, fried, scalloped, or even... uh... in chip form! YUM!

**WARNING:**
Potatos may cause severe psychological damage and may read your mind. If you have been under the influence of potatos and find that you suddenly want to dress it up like royalty, make a hat out of raw ground beef, or kiss a duck, or in severe cases, sing Tony the Tiger's theme song while doing the funky chicken dance through a car wash, please CONTINUE use of potatos as all of the human race shall bow down to King Spud. Thank you.

Otherwise, buy it used or buy Totally Pokemon if you never heard it.

This is the best cd ever made...it has features that you can do on your computer that all those people that gave it a bad rating probably missed. You can watch the cool and never boring pokerap and a scene from the greatest movie ever: Pokemon 3. I mean come on people, don't just pop this cd in your cd player, use it to it's fullest extent...put it in your computer and watch the awesome features that this cd has.

4.0 out of 5 stars Marketing Ploy????, April 17 2002

This review is from: Pokemon 3 the Ultimate Soundtrack (2001 Film) (Audio CD)
I was hoping for some all new Poke'mon music when I got this CD but it was very unfortunate to find out that most of the Songs were from the previous CD,Totally Poke'mon. There are only three new songs a remix of the Johto Theme(Much better than the original one)"To know the Unknown" by Innosense(A lovely song)and a little bit of score from the movie which was pleasing, but WHAT IS STUFF FROM ANOTHER CD doing on here? Why couldn't they realease a single with the whole score on it and those two songs? My theory:Those greedy marketers put more music for more money!I only reccomend this CD for EXTREME POKE'MON FANATICS ONLY.

3.0 out of 5 stars Totally Pokemon TAKE 2...., April 5 2002

Well, everyone else has pretty much said it already, but...

Yes, this is pretty much the CD Totally Pokemon with 2 more tracks. It's kind of disappointing, seeing how much went into the previous two soundtracks (Dance Of Bellossum, lol), and how little went into this.

It just seems that they gave up during this movie and that laziness dragged over into the release of MEWTWO RETURNS (which was great, don't get me wrong, it just seemed they could have put some serious work into it).

Well, since I gave Totally Pokemon I good rating, I can't necessarily give this a bad rating; but since it's basically a re-release (with the exception of 2 songs and some videos on this enhanced disc), I couldn't give it 5 stars.

But it's a good pick-up if you don't already have Totally Pokemon and/or if you are just looking to get every U.S. released Pokemon cd.
