Enjoyable and funny with a bit of action. Well acted and directed. This is a light and fun romp through the world of high fashion and some suspense to boot. Good bit of comedy for everyone to watch.Kenneth Vardy

this is one of the better romantic comedies i've seen in a while.forone thing,it has quite a few laughs.but i think that's because it's also a farce and a screwball comedy.i liked the slapstick scenes they threw in.i thought they were very effective.the dialogue in the movie is also great.there are some very witty scenes.it's also a mystery movie of sorts.Monica Potter and Freddie Prinze Jr.play the two leads in the film.both are instantly likable,(at least in this movie,at any rate)as are their characters.i don't feel this is your standard romantic comedy.it has other dimensions to it,which you'll notice when you watch it.i expected the movie to be average, mildly amusing fluff, but i'm glad i was wrong.there are a few moments where it is a bit slow, but for the most part, things flow along at a decent enough pace.for me,Head over Heels is a 3.5/5

Well I never thought that movie that looked this cheap was going to be so entertaining and simply fun, this supposed to be a cliche movie, but it has something different, of course has obvious turns and predictible endings but this movie was simply fun to watch....truly recommended for those lazy sunday afternoon without nothing to do. The lead actress Monica Potter is a Julia Roberts look-a-like with blonde hair don't you think.

I think freddie printz is a hottie but this film didnt excit e me like his other film, she all that. I guess if the movie had more popular actors and actress then it could've been a abetter movie. The other films he played in he was with other well known actors. The director could ve hired better people for their roles. THe actress, Ms. Potter was dull and she was too boring. I recommend this movie to any one who is home bored and ther is nothing on tv . Otherwise save your money and wait till it comes on tv to tape it. I expected a better film. I am very very sad. I still love my fpjr.

This was a nice little film. I admit that some of the gags were tedious but overrall it's enjoyable. The movie is very fast paced. I enjoyed all the characters though I found Monica Potter sort of dry. She acted as though she was afraid to cut loose and just be silly. She was kind of stiff but did an okay job. Freddie Prinze Jr. played his part more on the goofy side than charming but, hey this was a comedy after all. The models stole the show. I believe two of them never acted before. They did a good job and seemed more comfortable with themselves than Potter and Prinze. I'm sorry but Potter and Prinze's so-called love didn't do it for me. They had no chemistry( like many critics said when the film came out ). A lot of critics blasted this movie. It was a bit childish and silly. Yet, it's not THAT bad. It's worth a shot. Especially if you are fans of the leads. The climax was cliched but fit the film. I don't know if that's good or bad. You'll have to watch it yourself to make the choice. The DVD is equipped with a nice Special Features section. My only complaint was they left out commentary. I enjoy commentary most of all ( though I wasn't looking forward to people chatting while Freddie Prinze Jr. was on the toilet ), still I would have loved to hear the directors and actors while watching the film. Head Over Heels gets a B-. It tries a little too hard to be a romantic comedy and in that loses potential funny moments. I wanted to see more of the models' investigations of Prinze and less of Potter's whining. Other than that this is an okay film. If you don't mind toilet humor and grown women doing stupid stunts this film is for you.

i didn't notice this when the movie came out or even on video. it didn't seem like a movie that you would be caught watching. however one night on tv with nothing to watch, they had it on. let me tell you, i've not laughed so hard since patch adams. i had to buy it once i knew its name. we all feel like monica potter at one time or another. this is truely a gem.

High on my Guilty Pleasure scale,

You'd think that living with four models -- who are constantly dressed in evening gowns and are always surrounded by rich guys who will buy them anything just for a chance to be in the same room -- would be a bit...disconcerting. But Amanda Pierce (Monica Potter) doesn't mind. All she wants is to move on with her life, forget about men (one of whom she just caught cheating on her), and throw herself into her work (restoring paintings at the Met).Things change, however, when she meets Jim (Freddie Prinze, Jr.), the gorgeous fashion exec who lives in the next building. Amanda and her roommates spend hours spying on him -- watching as he baby-sits, buys candy from schoolgirls, and does chin-ups -- until they decide to get Amanda closer to him by crashing a party at his place. Amanda finally gets Jim's attention-and gets him to ask her out. But after she returns home, she sees what looks like a murder -- one that Jim committed in his apartment. So before going on a date with a killer, Amanda -- along with her evening-gown-clad roommates -- go undercover. Head Over Heels is definitely high on my guilty pleasure scale. It's a cheesy, sappy, goofy movie filled with clichés and anorexic supermodels doing undercover surveillance in heels, and I loved it. In fact, I was watching it alone, and it still made me laugh out loud. It's a good thing I got a five-night rental -- that meant I was able to watch it once or twice more before returning it.
