Very entertaining.Great family movie especially with young kids. Great cast and plot. It's ambitious, heart-warming, action pack and funny. Love Kristen Stewart in this movie.Something different for her. The two boys (Max and Corbin) aren't bad either. I'll recommend this movie to everybody.

i liked this movie quite a bit.true,it's not at all realistic, but ifyou can suspend your disbelief, you might like it.it a fun movie with a good deal of action and humour.the characters are all pretty likable, and the acting is good for this type of movie.if you're expecting something deep, you won't find it here, though there is a serious issue, which is the setup for most of the movie.the movie is fast paced and never boring.basically it's a pretty entertaining 90 minutes.there is some rude humour involved and some intense themes, but still i think it's suitable for most audiences, but parents should still use their discretion.for me,Catch That Kid is a 3.7/5

Many of the events were really unbelieveable, so I wouldn't say it's the greatest movie, or teaches kids how to rob a bank. But there was great acting and a great plot.

We are now teaching our children how to rob a bank?? What haven't kids learned from the movies?? Who writes this stuff? "I have to rob a bank so my father can have an operation." I've seen silent movies with better plots. Cute kids, nice tech stuff. I bought this for my grandkids but you can bet I won't be giving it to them.

This is a movie that delivers exactly what I expected - a kid's movie. This is a movie the whole family can enjoy. The plot: A young girl (Maddy) finds out her father is dying from an illness that only an experimental operation can cure. When she discovers that the operation cost more than her parents can afford, she makes a bad decision to steal the money from one of her mother's clients. Maddy makes bad decision after bad decision, but I think in the end she learns from her mistakes; and it is that fact that makes the message of the movie okay by me. I think this movie had unique characters and a very interesting plot. There were a few bad actors though; the head security guard at the bank building may have turned in the worst performance I have seen in quite a few years. Kristen Stewart is an amazing actress, and I see her as a young Jodie Foster. She is going to be a huge star! Corbin Bleu and Max Thierot were flawless in their roles as Maddy's best friends. The critics of this film need to realize that most Americans are sick of the "Kill Bill" and "Lost in Translation" type movies. It seems the more gore or negative-thinking is thrown in to a movie, the more chances it has of being adored by the Hollywood elite. I think it is time to make movies that can rely on substance and acting. This movie is not in the same league as Tombstone or Lord of the Rings, but it definitely delivers everything it claims to deliver in the synopsis! THAT'S WHY I GAVE IT A 5! See ya next review!

A bad family movie. It's like Adventures in Babysitting meets The Italian Job. The movie is unrealiable, with bad acting, and a bad message.

If you think your children should be taught to rob from banks and lead the police on dangerous chases involving go-karts to pay your medical bills, then buy this DVD pronto. This uninvolvling thriller sparked only casual interest in my 9-year-old and repulsed me as her father. The plot hinges on adults acting very, very stupid, which I guess can occur, but come on. Give me "Spy Kids" any time.

This is a great movie! There is some romance so some of the younger boys may not like it that much. The main plot is that this girl's father was injured in a mountain climbing accident and later suddenly has to go to the hospital, and the family doesn't have enough money to pay for a very expensive operation, and if he doesn't have the operation, he'll be paralyzed for life. His daugter and her two boy friends, (not boyfriends) decide to steal a lot of money from a bank that her mother works for. The two boys both really like her, and when they back out, she tells them indivindually that she really does love them and she'll be their girlfriend if they'll join her. The rest is for you to find out by watching the movie!

i saw it in the theatre. it was great. i came in at the beginning on the part where her mom called her though. it was kind of weird, because if a child her age can do all that, and not get in trouble for it, i have to ask..." what will she do next?"
