Blink is one of the best bands around the world, only few bands like Greenday, Offspring and Blink can make this kind of albums. Take of your pants and jacket has great songs that make everybody sing them and spend a funny time.

Blink-182 is awesome and this CD is really good.
The content is not bad at all either (at least compared to my other musik). Here is a scale of 1 to 10 for every song on the album

1. Anthem Part 7/10 good song but not as good as others on the album.

2. Online Songs - 10/10 lots of people may not like this song and you may not either but I like it alot.

3. First Date 5/10 Why the hell was this their third single on the album?

4. Happy Holidays you Bastard - 10/10 now this is some excellent blink 182, where the whole song is about ... socks and stuff like that

5. Story Of A Lonely Guy - 4/10 uhhh this song isnt too catchy

6. The Rock Show - 10/10 the only song so far that deserved to be released on the radio and TV

7. Stay 2gether for the kids - 5/10 ok this will not catch your attention the slightest bit even as an emotianal slow song.

8. Rollercoaster - 10/10 i get sick of them singing about love ... but this is a good song

9. reckless abandon 9/10 kewl!

10. Everytime I look for you 7/10 well before i saw american pie 2 i didnt like the song but its ok

11. Give Me One Good Reason 7/10 used to love it, now i get to it ... and skip it

12. Shutup 10/10 this is a really good song

13. Please Take Me Home 5/10 never really caught my attention

What can we say about Blink 182. They have the best drummer on earth, a fantastic guitarist, and an excellent bassist. Plus, they Mark can actually sing. Tom can sing as well, but in his own. What separates blink from different bands is that they have a different style. Mark low toned voice and Tom high pitched nasal voice complement each other pefectly. These guys are talented, unique, and creative, and thats a dangerous combination. In their latest project, Take off your pants and jacket (hahahahaha get it? Take off your pants and jack it) they show off their talent even more so than Enema of the State.

1. Anthem pt. 2(tom)- Third single off Take off... This one talks about the youth and the problems facing them. This is an awesome song. The drums, as usual, are AWESOME, the guitars are great, bass-exxcellent. Mature side of Blink. 5/5

2. Online Songs(mark)- Mark talks about Josie and how she's the object of his frustration. This song is INCREDIBLE. The stand-out here is the bass. It goes from a bass riff in the beggining to a fast-paced song. This is my favorite song to play as I'm driving to school. 5/5

3. First Date(tom)- Second single off Take off... Guitars are the stand-out in this track. Bass is great in the verses. Great fast-paced song to just listen to with your friends when you hang out. Tom talks about his thoughts during his first date. The music video is insane, and funny. 5/5

4. Happy Holidays, you b******(mark)- This was intended to be an angry song. It is funny the first time you hea it, but afterwards, it gets kibd of annoying, just the words. The music however is AWESOME. 4/5

5. Story of a lonely guy(tom)- AWESOME SONG. DEFINATELY IN THE TOP 5 BEST BLINK SONGS EVER MADE. Tom talking about his life, somewhat emotional. everything is outstanding in this song; Guitar, Bass, Drums, lyrics, riff, the hook. 5/5

6. Rock Show(mark)- first single off take off.. This song is great. The stand-out is the bass during the verses; AWESOME. Tom talking about falling in love at the Rock Show. 4/5

7. Stay Together for the Kids(mark/tom)-third single off take off.. I really like the chorus, the way the music is louder and tom's high pitched voice soundas coool as mess. I don't really like the verses however. The standout is definately the guitars. Mark talking about a broken home. 4/5

8.Rollercoaster(mark)- THIS IS PROBABLY THE BEST PRESENTED BLINK 182 SONGS EVERRRR!!!! This song is ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. The music and the verses just flow PERFECTLY. THIS TRACK HAS ABSOLUTELY NO FLAWS. THE CHORUS AT THE END OF THE SONG IS DEFINATELY THE BEST. AWESOME. 5/5 (EXCELLENT SONG)

9. Reckless Abandon(tom)- This song is basically verbal episode of jack-a**. Tom just talks about a bunch of stunts and stuff people wouldn't do on a daily basis. 4/5

10. Everytime I look for you(mark/tom)- unerated song. American Pie II soundtrack. Stand-out is the drums, especially in the solo before the last chorus, awesome. 5/5

11. Give me one good reason(tom)- Strandout is the bass during verses; awesome. Song about rebellion. 5/5

12. Shut Up(mark)- angry song. Awesome. 5/5

13. Please take me home- the song is okay 3/5

14a. Time to break up- not the best blink song but okay 3/5

15a. Mother's Day- now, this is a funny song. 5/5

14b. What went wrong- not the best blink song, but okay 3/5

15b. The Granpa Song- funny 5/5

14b. Hold On- the best bonus track song 5/5

15. The Dong Song- funny 5/5

Take off yuour pants and jacket have three versions. Each version has 2 bonus tracks. 1 serious song, and 1 joke song. This album is what I call good. If you don't have this album, you obviously live under a rock.

P.S.- Have you heard Blink 182's new song "Action" on Madden 2004. It is incredible. New albuim is coming out on November 18, 2003. GO GET IT.

dude dont diss this band they are so good this is one of my favortie cds ever get this.

This is Blinks second Pop/rock/punk cd and their 5th actual cd ( not including Flyswatter demo ). What I eman by that is their odler stuff is more Punk, and when Enima of the State came out, their music started to change a little from punk to a pop-rock punk. This cd had such great songs as Happy Holidays You Bastard, Give Me One Good Reason, and Story of a Lonely Guy. The whole cd is great but thoes are just some of my favorites. This is a great cd and I recommend it to all blink fans.

this cd is good, solid blink. although i don't like it as much as i liked enema of the state, this is still one of my favorite cd's that i own. here are the songs:

Anthem part 2: 7/10- this song gets kinda boring after a while. Catchy tune though.

Online Songs: 8/10- Also eventually boring, but it has a good chorus

First Date: 7/10- I guess the only reason i like this song is because it reminds me of the blink concert i went to once upon a time.

Happy Holidays you Bastard: 5/10- Really short and pointless, but its pretty funny.

The Rock Show: 9/10- i like this song. Its really catchy and has a good beat. By the way, Travis is the most insane drummer in the world.

Story of a Lonely Guy: 9/10- at first i didnt like this song at all, but it grew on me and now its one of my favorites.

Stay Together for the Kids: 10/10- i love this song. Its my favorite on the album, very sad. Its this album's Adam's Song.

Roller Coaster: 9/10-Another really catchy, good song. the drumming and the chorus are both really good.

Reckless Abandon: 10/10 Another one of my favorites. its a good summer song, and i could listen to it all day.

Everytime I look for You: 6/10- I dont really like this song. Never have liked it, never will

Give me one good Reason: 10/10- a classic punk anthem type song.

Shut Up: 10/10- Another good song. this one is about a failing relationship.

Please take me home: 9/10- Although the lyrics are kind of stupid, its still a catchy, fun song.

You don't have to watch MTV. You don't have to like and listen to what's played on the radio. Get minds of your own. There is soooo much good music out there that isn't crammed down your throat. EXPLORE!

I'm a fan of this cd, tho it gets broing from time to time. But its also very catchy. I just think Blink's older stuff owns everthing they have now even there new self titled falls to the old blink 182.
