5.0 out of 5 stars Long Live Roland and Curt!
This is just an absolutely fantastic collection of music. Tears For Fears wrote some of the most beautuful tunes I've ever heard and this compilation puts all my favorites in one place. It is still a stunner to hear these tracks and I will never tire of songs like "Mad World", "I Believe", or "Shout".
...and the best part is, Roland and...

2.0 out of 5 stars Digital Remastering Is Poor!
So I decided to give in and finally pick up this collection of hits because I actually haven't heard most of the tracks on here from their first album - and I heard good things about "Mad World." Great song. I mainly bought this for a remastered version of "Head Over Heels" - the single version without "Broken (Live)" tagged on the end. The version which is glued...

5.0 out of 5 stars Tears For Fears Originals, March 16 2013
Ce commentaire est de: Shout: The Very Best Of Tears For Fears (Audio CD)
"Shout-The Very Best of Tears For Fears" by Tears For Fears highlights classic hits of their music careers. "Mad World", "Shout", "Everybody Wants To Rule The World","Head Over Heels", "Sowing The Seeds Of Love" "Woman In Chains" (feat. Oleta Adams) and "Break It Down Again" are some of the satisfactory tracks available on this collection. "Shout-The Very Best of Tears For Fears" is best for those who like 80's to 90's greatest hits compilations of synth-pop music genres.

2.0 out of 5 stars The Worst of 80's FM Pop Radio Bands (and some filler), June 19 2002
By A Customer
Ce commentaire est de: Shout: The Very Best Of Tears For Fears (Audio CD)
Tears for Fears is one of the worst bands of the 80's. Their songs represented some of the worst excesses of the music of that era; most of them are chock full of pretentiousness and cliche, epsecially the heinously overplayed and overrated "Shout". How can a band that had at most four relatively successful chart singles produce a "best of" album? Simple...you mix their chart singles with album filler and sell it to the gullible and naive.
I gave this album two stars instead of one because Roland Olazabal is a highly technically proficient musician, but unless you're a completist or hopelessly in love with the 80's, a decade I consider to be one of the worst ever for popular music, I'd pass on this CD.
