4.0 out of 5 stars Definite multiplayer fun, Jun 24 2003

Road rage is a tremendous good time with friends. A clever twist on race car style play. The commentary of characters is on par with the series as is the hidden innuendo of locations and cars.
My only complaint is that the big cars (Otto's bus, the Plow King) are just not competitive. They crash well but never stand a chance against Krusty's Clown Car or Wiggam's ride.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great game for many reasons. BUY IT., Jun 19 2003
This review is from: The Simpsons Road Rage (Video Game)
Originally, I decided to go out and get 'Crazy Taxi' for PS2. They didn't have it in stock, but they recommended 'The Simpsons Road Rage'. I got it, and I am definetely glad I did. It's exactly like Crazy Taxi, but with Simpsons characters and levels. You can role play as 1 of over 30 characters, all with unique vehicles, and you can explore various different worlds in the game.

The object of the game is to earn 1 million dollars in order to stop Mr. Burns' transit station. This obviously is done by carpooling characters to various places. I found the game really addicting and fun, one of the best for PS2.

There are 4 modes. Road Rage, where you carpool to earn money, Mission Mode, where you can complete missions for fun - the good thing about mission mode is if you can't complete one, you move on to the next one. Then there's Sunday Drive, which is really fun. You freely drive around town, with the option to carpool character's for practice/fun. I like destructing the town though, haha. And last, 2 player, where you obviously go head to head in the game.

Overall, the game is awesome. 5 stars. Even if you aren't a Simpson fan, you'll like it. If you're a simpson fan, you'll absolutely love it. Get this game.

4.0 out of 5 stars SIMPSONS + PS2 = HOURS AND HOURS AND FUN, Jun 16 2003
This review is from: The Simpsons Road Rage (Video Game)
Ths Simpsons, finally on PS2! This game rocks! A whole slew of characters, a great story line, real character voices, and tons more. This game is exactly like Crazy Taxi except Ten Times Better! The only reason it got 4 stars is because of the slow loading times. Other than that it is AWESOME!

4.0 out of 5 stars Awesome, Jun 15 2003

The game is very addicting.Funny phrases, especially Ralph with,"Take me home please, the leprachaun told me to burn things." You will have so much fun with this game. The problem is it gets boring after a while. My advice is when you play shut it off for an hour or two and then play again. Matt Groening (Creator) did a great job!! I give it 4 1/2 stars.

This is what crazy Taxi should've been. Classic Simpsons humor, great animation and cute storyline. It will have you hooked for hours! Even though the scenery gets a little tired after a while, you keep getting new cars and new experiences. Great game!
