Oh boy where to begin. It is pretty hard to take an artist seriously when their main claim to fame is their hair color. JEM she ain't! Her music is atrocious and her whole image is based on being this bad girl who had it tough in high school. Others of us had it rough too, but we chose to grow up. She ends the album with a song entitled "My Vietnam." Pink you weren't even born then, how do you know what Vietnam was like? You sure aren't no Peggy Gravel! In "Don't Let Me Get Me," she desperately tries to come off as some tortured teen who is hated by all. If she was anything like that then as she is now, then i believe it! A genuine crazy like Courtney love would so kick her rear! Might I also suggest she invest in mole removal.

5.0 out of 5 stars Pink does it again; catchy pop sounds that won't let go., Jun 29 2006

Pink has always been very good at taking an established pop form and throwing a funky, catchy twist into it to make her own sound. In this album, she achieves this again. She revisits themes she explored before, but adds a bit of Spanish/Latin American influence, especially on "Stupid Girl" and "I'm Not Dead." With the tracks "Cuz' I Can" and "U + Ur Hand", Pink shows us her ability to present a bad attitude in such a way as to make us wonder if she is mocking the apparent target of her scorn, her own image, or the listeners themselves. This contrasts sharply with her contemplation of her own success in "I Got Money Know", which reminds us of the price of fame, something she covered in tracks like "Lonely Girl" from M!ssundaztood. This is pop music at its finest, very accessible, but far enough away from standard to hold your attention for a long time.

1.0 out of 5 stars Bad choice of music, Jun 25 2005
Let me be honest with you. The music on this CD is NOT good. NONE of the music nowadays is good. The songs on here don't have interesting melodies. Songs of genres like rap don't even have melodies. And in all other genres of new music (e.g. pop, R&B, rock) the melodies of the songs are either boring or ugly. If a song that is popular these days has a catchy melody, it's a catchy UGLY melody. Melodies have to be nice to be enjoyable, like in classical music. Here is a simple rule: For music to be good, it has to first of all HAVE a melody, and second the melody has to be catchy and NICE (NOT UGLY)!

i love this CD. I bought it mainly for Just Like A Pill and found that most of the songs on her appeal to me. The beats and sounds of this make for great party music.

i dont get why she's classified as a pop artist tho...some of the music sounds poppy, but not completely...shes more alt/punk or pop/punk...

good CD....that wraps it up

The first album was cute but this one is better. The sound she had for this album seems to fit her better. My favorite is "My Vietnam" and "Family Portrait". "Don't Let me get me" is close to home for me. This is my anthem. Her future albums should sound a lot like this one.

4.0 out of 5 stars Pretty good., Jun 13 2004
This review is from: M!ssundaztood (Audio CD)
This album is 100% better than her first one. This one has better tracks such as 'family Portrait' that is personal and lovely. 'Get the party started' is incredibly catchy and a great dance song. 'R.E.S.P.E.C.T' is a really cool song that has a good beat about it. I love all the songs on P!nk's albuma nd think that she is an talented singer that just does not care about what other people think about her!!! I think that her voice is.... fab!!! I am so happy she was discovered as a artist because i would hate to think of her as a undiscovered talent that only sings at talent shows and in her bedroom!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Fresh and Fun, May 8 2004

I'm 42 years old and have been listening to music of all varieties for longer than many of the other reviewers have been alive. I love this album. It's fresh, energized and soulful. Pink has a sense of self and awareness that doesn't usually come until much later in life. She's an extraordinary young artist; I congratulate her on her initial success and look forward to much more from her in the years to come. P.S. My kids love this album too!

Same old manufactured pop puppet. You have an okay voice but the rest (everything really) sucks. This whole macho butch-les attitude you have isn't cute neither. I could whoop you with my thumb!
