The summit series between the russians and the canadians from 1972 is really something special. It was some of the greatest hockey games ever played and I personally have only witnessed better hockey on one occation - Canada Cup 1987. However this is a great collection of highlights and a true hockey fan should get it. I prefer this highlight DVD instead of the Box-set "Canadas team of the century" on 4 DVDs - sure it has all the 8 games in their entirety but also has all the troubles left in them as they appered in the original broadcast such as missing sound, picture and so on. This highlight DVD has all the action, great hockeyscenes and the sound/picture are crystal clear!

This is a 95 minute video highlight summary of the 8 game 1972 Canada-Russia series, and is a MUST for any hockey fan's collection. Picture quality better than the recent TV broadcast of the games; excellent interviews; highly recommended.
