5.0 out of 5 stars Yoga is very fun!
I hope you have fun enjoying this. It comes from a website. It comes in handy. You can do it! I just know you can. I like the kangaroo pose, but when I topple over doing the camel pose, it wears me out. The kangaroo pose - BOUNCE,BOUNCE,BOUNCE - I love it! I really like the sandwich guy and as the toe turns, because they are funny. You should buy it!

2.0 out of 5 stars poses, not pratice
I read all these great reviews and must admit I was REALLY disappointed. I thought it would be a yoga dvd I could do with my child and she could have fun while I got at leaset a litle of my workout in. WRONG. It is more like a visual encyclopedia of kid "yoga" poses. The yoga guy talks about the pose and "kid chats" a bunch, but RARELY is the one...

I read all these great reviews and must admit I was REALLY disappointed. I thought it would be a yoga dvd I could do with my child and she could have fun while I got at leaset a litle of my workout in. WRONG. It is more like a visual encyclopedia of kid "yoga" poses. The yoga guy talks about the pose and "kid chats" a bunch, but RARELY is the one demonstrating the poses. I do not want to suffer though it again for an exact quote but basically he says things like "Camel pose is great, do you want to be a camel??? Camels this and camels that, bla bla bla camels". The whole while sitting there looking at you not doing the pose he is talking about and just talking while looking at the camara. Not even telling you what to actually do, just talking up the virtues and fun of the next pose. I would give it a 5 if it were a 2 part dvd with an actual yoga routen you could do that put all these poses together. The host talks longer than you do the pose it felt like. Definately not a break a sweat or high energy dvd. LOTS of down time and chatter with NO flow or routen. It will not remain on my shelf. If you are looking for a DVD with tons of talk and lots of gaps between movement than this is the one for you.

5.0 out of 5 stars So much fun - for both of us!, May 25 2004

My daughter actually wakes me up in the morning, asking to do yoga. This video makes it so much fun for her, and it's a perfect beginners workout for me. All of the poses are done in a way that kids can make believe, and get some excercise at the same time. My five-year-old's favorite is "the butterfly", she pretends she's flying around looking for flowers. This is great for someone like me because I have no motivation to work out whatsoever, but my daughter encourages it. This is the first workout video I've ever seen that actually makes it fun for kids and adults alike.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great to do with Kids!!, Jan 22 2004

I bought this DVD for something to do with my 4 year-old Daughter while her brother is at school. I turned it on for both of the kids while I was doing laundry one afternoon. The giggles that were coming from the room were worth every penny I paid for the DVD. My daughter and I love doing this together. It is geared for kids but fun for grown-ups too. This is not a serious yoga workout but for the poses and an introduction to Yoga it is GREAT!

2.0 out of 5 stars Better for younger children, Nov 30 2003
By A Customer
Based on the excellent reviews, I bought this video for my 8 yr. old daughter. Yes, we did it together and felt very silly.
This video is geared to the preschool set. I thought that the poses were not held long enough, especially for kids who have had some prior yoga instruction. This video is a great introduction for younger children (under 7) but not for school age kids.

5.0 out of 5 stars yoga mom, Aug 8 2003

We love this video. In fact, I just ordered 3 more for all the kids I know around me! My daughter is 2.5 and my son is 4.5. They both loved the video and are so excited about doing all the moves. The 'yoga dude' does all the poses pretending to be various animals. He also doesn't hold the poses for long which helps the kids not get bored. There are also funny toe tidbits in between to keep them laughing. A great introduction to yoga for kids.

5.0 out of 5 stars Family Fun, July 10 2003

I bought this DVD for my 9 yr. old daughter and I to do together. What a great experience! The instructor is wonderful, and the program is easy to follow. For those with a short attention span, fear not, the poses move quickly and are demonstrated very well. The parent/child interaction makes this DVD even better. I wish there were more videos like this available.

I am 6 years old and I take yoga. We got this DVD because my sister is too little -she's 2 1/2 -she can't go to class. We do it together and it's really fun. The yoga dude makes me laugh -he talks with his feet! And he shows us how to breathe. And he talks like Elvis. I like this yoga DVD a lot!

5.0 out of 5 stars Best children's video around, April 1 2003
By A Customer
This is a great video for children and adults to do together. Chaz, the instructor combines his knowledge of yoga postures and humor in a very entertaining and valuable production. The benefits of all of the asanas (poses) presented are explained in terms that children can understand. There is enough variety to keep older children interested, yet it isn't so difficult that younger children can't participate. I would recommend this video for parents and children ages 3-10.

5.0 out of 5 stars My five-year-old loves this DVD!, Jan 22 2003

This review is from: Yogamazing Interactive W/O for (DVD)
I bought "Yoga for the Kid in All of Us" on a whim and, after using it once, my five-year-old son begs to "do yoga" with me every day! One of the nicest things about this program is that it's for kids and their parents to do together (though a child or parent could do it on their own). The "yoga dude" who introduces and explains the poses (you mostly see a mom or dad and a kid actually doing the poses) is just zany enough to amuse kids, but not so wacky as to annoy parents. The music is terrific; the pacing is just right. I look forward to more DVD's from this studio.
