I thought this movie was hilarious! A fun horror-comedy you can eaisly enjoy if you don't base it on the first installment. The only connection to the original American Psycho is the opening scene where Patrick Bateman is killed (So if you can get passed that you just might like it). Give it a try.

Hey, it ain't Citizen Kane, but if you want to see a cool, twisted, and cheezy murder flick it's pretty cool. Also seeing William Shatner and Jackie from That 70's Show start to get it on was pretty wild. It's not really funny like the first one was, but it's still enjoyable.

Not really a sequel to AMERICAN PSYCHO, this is basically just a direct to DVD hackjob (courtesy of writers Alex Sanger & Karen Craig, & director Morgan J. Freeman- I'm not sure if he's a relation) made to try & cash in on that movie's success. Obviously, they failed.
Mila Kunis plays Rachael Newman, a student of Behavioural Sciences at Quantico who happened to witness the brutal murder of her babysitter as a girl at the hands of Patrick Bateman, the original AMERICAN PSYCHO, so in retaliation she kills him. The police never link her to the crime so as a result of this Rachael has discovered she enjoys killing & decides to devote the rest of her life to killing other psychos as a form of retribution in order to better understand how they think & advance her career prospects in the FBI. She thinks of herself as "the Robin Hood of serial killers".
Ironically, her college professor is none other than James T. Kirk... woops, I mean Robert Starkman (William Shatner) the FBI profiler who caught Bateman.
This movie (almost) recreates the "microwaved cat" scene from Bret Easton Ellis's original novel. But that's about it. One of those "Why did they bother?" sequels, loosely & clumsily tied to the original (a la THE RAGE: CARRIE 2). Add to this some of the stupidest gore scenes ever put on film & the notion that we're supposed to believe that cute college girls are attracted to pudgy old Bill Shatner! The story is stupid, the dialogue is stupid, the ending is stupid, but AMERICAN PSYCHO 2 will probably be remembered as "the movie where Captain Kirk got eviscarated". None of the actors here have the charisma Christian Bale showed as Bateman (still his best performance in my opinion). Avoid this, & stick with the original. If "sequels" like this continue to be green-lighted then you may want to keep your eyes peeled for FRIDAY THE 13TH PART 12: JASON VS SPOCK. The machete versues logic: something this movie lacks- sharpness & intelligence. Also appearing in the film is Geraint Wyn-Davies, best known from the cult TV show FOREVER KNIGHT.

I thought the movie was cute! No, it wasn't Oscar material and it was never meant to be. However, it did make for an entertaining watch. It was never meant to follow the original. There are MANY different types of psychotics out there, why just stick with some boring old guy that everyone has seen before. I liked it!

I like the original American Psycho until late one night I saw that they had a sequel to it so I gave it a shot a my thought are without a doubt nowhere in a league with AP. The plot and story line is lame and predictable. the only true acting skills come from Bill Shatner and the ending is predictable. Mila Kunis was great in Family Guy (voice of Meg) but in this she looks like she's is rehersing for "Heathers 2"

syke. yeah - i said syke. cause this movie sucked. i love how it referenced to parts of american psycho part 1 that didnt even exist - and that it actually conflicted with the original film. take some director with an almost recognizable spin off of a famous name (morgan J freeman) - mix him in with 20 days of filming and a budget of 3 million dollars - put it straight to video and then throw in some hollywood magic (ie blood, underlying messages to women, and captain kirk) and there you have it.

First this is probably the worst film I have ever seen.Second, this has nothing to do with the original American Psycho but by name! so the title is misleading..(it should have been named 'the Yawning' or 'How to not direct movies' or something..
It is yet another straight to video/DVD serial/psycho movie with a twist,it manages to be consistently awful till the last minute, and then when you think it is safe to watch movies again, in comes the chance in the last scene for a sequel a la Hannibal Lecter!! God Help us all!
Mila Kunis is gorgeous and talented, but I think she made a terrible choice for her first leading role in features,whereas William Shatner is one of the best actors of all time (er..just not on earth, but on some spaceship looking for earth).
The only thing that could have redeemed this movie is for the filmmakers to have opted for the erotic thriller genre and spiced it up a bit, but maybe they took themselves too seriously as artists to do so, who knows??
Anyway, avoid this film at all costs.

Yes, it wasn't American Psycho, nor did it really relate, but American Psycho II All American Girl wasn't really meant to follow in American Psycho's footsteeps. If you look at this movie without it having to do with the first one, it is rather enjoyable. So it has a few plot holes and bad dialogue. It did keep my attention the entire time. Mila Kunis did a great job concidering the script she had to work with. She was likeable and keep the whole movie going. There were even many times where I laughed! This movie wasn't just another gorefest because there was no gore!! This movie's sole purpose was to entertain and it did. This movie, to me at least, was so bad it was good.

This is a disgrace to have the title ( american psycho) in this film and have it even been associated with american psycho the first movie. How can they call this American psycho 2? I thought the whole premise of the first movie was that it was all in batemans head? Anyway the first American psycho movie was brilliant, this one is a load of bull.Mila kunis cannot act- she did a horrible job as ( the girl) who witnessed her babysitter getting killed by bateman. I dont even think this girl ever has done a movie before only on tv- ( that 70s show). This was a cheesy pathetic movie-not at all beleivable that mila was a psycho and serial killer-definetly she was not good actress to put in this role and the story and plot were weak. COMPARED TO 1ST AMERICAN PSCYHO.William shatner played her college profesor and he was good - naturally of course cause he can act -mila cant and cant play this part well at all and milas counselar in the movie was a good actor/played part well but i am very disapointed in this sequel, if you can even call it that.This is a joke compared to the first movie and if any one says this movie is good like the couple reviews i read on here then they really must not have seen first american psycho or they got absolutly no taste.Go rent this movie and then see for yourself. But dont pay full price on here for it, not worth it.

I personly loved this movie it had death fun & a female killer.
What more could you people want.I thought the plot stood up well
to first one & on top of that for the more mentally lacking people it
was more simple to follow.Yet it still had enough twist to keep me into it.
The ending was done very nicely in my
mind.I think this dvd is one you should own.for those who did not like it
you can kiss off.This moive was not meant to make think or mind numbing
brain parody it is what it is.Plain & simple just a great enjoyable movie.
