Best Workout CD,

Whether you're jogging/running, lifting weights, cycling, etc. you need to have this CD with you. I'm a spinning class instructor and use this CD and the Nyana CD every day or so, and my class just loves it. It pumps up your adrenaline and it makes you wanna sweat and burn fat! Speaking of adrenaline, I don't recommend listening to Tiesto's music while driving - I've been pulled over many times (for speeding up to 80-90mph!!!)It's definitely worth the money...

This CD hit me hardest as I was driving from Asheville, NC through the smoky mountains park. It made me feel like I could become one with the earth, fly to the greatest heights and conquer any fear I have in my life. Driving through there with the leaves falling from the trees, the sky as blue and clear as I have ever felt it; With this album you are not in search of sunrise, you find it.

Best Tiesto, best trance mixed album!,

I have had just about every Tiesto CD at one time or another, and while I like his stuff a lot, I like to keep my CD collection from getting out of control, therefore ISOS3 is the only one of his I keep and will not part with. You will be hard pressed to find any trance mixed CD that is as moving, smooth, and driven as this one. An awesome selection of tracks and a CD that you just want to hear from start to finish, over and over again. One could never grow tired of this mix. My only minor complaint is, the start of tracks are way off from where Tiesto begins to chage selections in the mix. It is very annoying if you love to upload ceratain songs to your ipod. I think all DJ mixed CD's should be more accurate in their track starts/stops. Maybe they do it purposely to stop copying? Anyway, the only other DJ trance mixed album that is coming close to this one for me is Ronski Speed's Positive Ways 3, released may of '04 by Euphonic (Germany). Every time I hear that one, it's slowly creeping up on ISOS3, in fact, it may even surpass it for me. It's another that is so sweet from start to finish. Go look for Positive Ways 3, you won't be disappointed!!

This is the mixed cd that got me into trance. It had such a summery feel to it. When I first got it I just can't stop listening to it. In this CD, you'll find DJ Tiësto's remix of Southern Sun which is different from the version that was released and by far the version on the cd is better than the released one.

For a long time, I thought DJ Tiesto was nothing more than a rip-off. In an attempt to become more familiar with the "worlds #1 DJ" I bought his DVD "Tiesto in Concert" and was very impressed with it. Soon after I bought "Nyana" and enjoyed it as well. Yesterday I decided to pick "In Search of Sunrise v3" and I cannot stand it. The music is so lifeless and lacks so much energy. Yes, trance is meant to be soothing but not enough to make listening experience bland and boring. And that's exactly what this album is. After hearing Andain's "Beautiful Things" on Nyana, I was sure I'd at least like the album for "Summer's Calling". Wrong. Slow and uneventful like the album itself. The only song I really enjoyed was the "Southern Sun" remix by Tiesto himself but I had even heard that before so it was nothing new. Extremely disappointed in this CD and Tiesto. For being #1, he sure has problems with releasing good albums consistly. I would NOT recommend this CD.

Believe the hype on this one.,

I've been burned before for listening too closely to some customer reviews. As such, I was skeptical about this record, having never heard any of it. What turned me onto Tiesto a couple years ago was an unconventional introduction to his craft via a remix he did for the CCM vocal group, Avalon. He remixed one of their bigger hits, Can't Live a Day. Avalon is hardly electronica. At best, they're adult pop with mild electronic tendencies. But Tiesto's treatment of that particular single had me addicted from the first chorus. My first straight-up Tiesto purchase was the "In My Memory" album. I wanted to play it safe with a studio production, not knowing whether or not I should dive into a live mix right off the bat. "In My Memory" almost lost my attention, and it remains only margianally interesting to me. What maintained my allegiance to him, though, was the brilliant Close To You as well as the title track from "Memory." This spawned my "Summerbreeze" investment which proved to me that Tiesto was equally competent and enjoyable live, in addition to his studio work. It wasn't until I finally ventured out on a limb and picked up this one, "In Search of Sunrise 3" that I discovered Tiesto's strength is actually in live mixing. This album more than sufficiently lives up to its five stars. What really makes "ISOS3" a great record is the undeniable presence of melody-driven trance. I used to take the element of melody for granted until I started hearing all of the popular trance CD's out there that painfully lack an adequate melody. Too many DJ's are satisfied with music that relies exclusively on beats and noises. In fact, it was this apprehension of non-melodic trance that kept me from buying "ISOS3" for so many months. If any of my preaching about melody sounds contrived or unnecessary, listen to track seven on this CD. It's the Gabriel and Dresden remix of Tiesto's own In My Memory. It was my first listen to this track that sealed my faith in this CD and furthermore in Tiesto's ability to compile. This song alone is worth the $15 I paid for the CD. The other Gabriel and Dresden mix on this record, Way Out West's Mindcircus, is also captivating and it keeps the back end of the CD interesting. Now all we need is a full project from Gabriel and Dresden... The Southern Sun track is another work of art in the same vein. What surprised me the most about this album was the length of the first three songs: none longer than 3:40, the first being more of an abbreviated introduction at only two and a half minutes. It's quite inconsequential, though, and this minor detail is quickly forgiven by the time Solarcoaster rolls around. "In Search of Sunrise 3" has given me reason to trust and favor Tiesto's live mixing. And whoever implied that he's better live than trapped in a studio may be right. Nonetheless, my curiosity is now drifting to the magnetic appeal of "Nyana." Any suggestions, anyone?

I've wanted to have Tiesto's children since I saw him play in Bournemouth, back in January 2000. In August of this year I went to Taiwan, and one of the friends I made there happened to have this CD. The sheer beauty of the masterpiece as a whole, with the highpoints for me being the second and last tracks, made me weep with nostalgia for the European way of life, drinking real beer instead of formaldehyde and dancing to beautiful music til the sun comes up. Trust me - you NEED this album...

I've had this compilation for over a year now, and I'm still loving it. Tiesto creates a soothing atmosphere from the very beginnning. He keeps this up by mixing in a lot of smooth vocal tracks such as Solarcoaster, In My Memory, Southern Sun, and Mindcircus, which are all fantastic in themselves. This cd is great for just kicking back and relaxing at home or at the beach (though i've never tried at the beach, i hear it's great:) )

This is a sample that Tiesto won the World number 1 DJ.The 2002 Tiesto won this price and this CD is the prove that he was;... and he still rocks. The Paul Oakenfold track remix: Southern Sun remixed by Tiesto is such wonderful. I recomend this CD as I have and is outstanding. Go ahead for this.

I have been wanting the third volume in the "In Search of Sunrise" series for some time now. Much to my luck, I found a used copy of the cd today. I must say that I enjoyed this cd much more than with Tiesto's new cd "Nyana" which I found to be a bit on the repetitive side but it was still good. George Acosta still remains to be my favorite trance dj but Tiesto is coming in close at second. Paul Oakenfold jumped the shark on his more recent efforts. Despite the fact that I already heard a few of the songs on "In Search of Sunrise 3" (i.e songs by Way Out West and Solar Stone) therefore the songs sounds a bit dated, I still found myself enjoying this cd much more than I did with "Nyana". I thought Tiesto did a much better mixing job on this cd than on "Nyana". The songs flowed well together and didn't have that choppy sound which I hate, giving the cd a cohesive sound. If there was one song that I could have easily lived without hearing, it would have to be Solar Stone's "Solarcoaster". Talk about overplayed on mixed cds. So is Way Out West's "Mindcircus" but I still love the song. I thought the remix of Oakey's "Southern Sun" was so much better than the original album version. The remixed version gave the song an added boost of energy that the original version was sorely lacking in. Despite that this album is a year old, I must say that it is one of the best mixed trance cds that I had bought this year.
