I am a fan of Julie Andrews. This movie was light and fluffy. It warmed the heart and made for a few chuckles as well, so curl up quietly on the couch with a hot chocolate and enjoy!

Julie Andrews and James Gardner are at their very best in this charming holiday tale of two lonely people finding their way to each other after the loss of their respective spouses to Alzheimer's and heart disease. Julie plays a fiesty surgeon who values her independence. James plays a construction foreman with a few old-fashioned notions about what women can/can't do, and the clash is inevitable! It's hilarious, sweet, and funny all at the same time. You'll LOVE watching this video and will surely want to add it to your personal collection. It's a classic for Julie Andrews fans!

This is one of my absolute favorite Christmas movies! It would be hard to make it any better. Julie Andrews is fantastic as Catherine Howard, a pediatric cardiologist. James Garner shines in his role, as well. This movie is so sentimental. It's a great movie for entire families to watch between Thanksgiving and Christmas. The movie actually starts at Thanksgiving... There are only a few profanities in this movie. Other than that it's great for everyone. Watch this movie this Christmas! You won't be a bit sorry.

Julie Andrews and James Garner couldn't have been matched more perfectly for the roles they played in "One Special Night". It is by far one of the best holiday romance movies to come along in years. It has a special quality that can only be attributed to the charm of the actors.

I made a copy of the movie from one of the two different TV showings and have watched it over and over again, including most recently as a hint of the holidays start to ring throughout the air.

I recommend it as a wonderful movie to view and add to any collection.

A wonderful tale in classical Julie Andrews style. Julie Andrews and James Garner make a great team in this heartwarming holiday tale about second chances in life. They're two unlikely people who get stranded overnight in a snowstorm and discover that love CAN come again. I taped it when it was on TV and have watched it many times since. The tape is a must-have part of anyone's holiday collection.

This is a great movie.

If you are in mourning as I am.
You can understand these people on a more personal level.

There is hope at finding love, a second time around.

It is a soft heartfelt story which offers hope to the grieving
or someone who has suffered a loss of some kind.

James Garner and Julie Andrews are sweet and lovable in this movie.

Highly recommend it. It is not morbid in any way.
On the contrary it is a kind of uplifting look at real life.
