This review is from: La Turbulence Des Fluides (aka Chaos And Desire) (DVD)
One of the best Canadian Films I've seen, La Turbulence Des Fluides (Chaos and Desire)
combines suspense, turmoil and deep inner emotions to pull a small Quebecois town
through their regrets and sadness. Unseen forces play out in a pantomime thriller, with the end
result to resolve what should be a force of nature, yet plays out as a force of chance.
More as a direct translation, "The Turbulence of the Fluids" relates not only to the plot of the film,
set against a ceased tide flow. It also pulls direct relationship to each individual against the
Baie (Bay) which has lain dormant since one peticular date & has brought Alice, with all the baggage
of a failed relationship, across the globe to return to her place of birth in hope of "the big one".
