Looking for a song not on the soundtrack,
By
This review is from: Charlie's Angel: Full Throttle/O.S.T. (Audio CD)
When Dylan Saunders (Drew Barrymore) is leaving the agency, there is a snippet of a cool song with no lyrics playing as background music. I really like this song, and it doesn't appear on the soundtrack. Does anyone know what this song is?

I'd like to know the name of that guitar theme, too (the one where Drew Barrymore is walking into the Mexican bar). If anyone knows what it's called, please post!

A good soundtrack,
This review is from: Charlie's Angel: Full Throttle/O.S.T. (Audio CD)
I like this CD. It may not be as good as the first movie's soundtrack, but it is still very good. Once again, the new songs and the older songs flow very well together. The best new song on the soundtrack may be "Danger! High Voltage!" by Electric Six,which should have been one of last year's biggest hits. Pink's "Feel Good Time" is also very good and was a good choice as the movie's lead single. Of the older tunes, I love Loverboy's "Workin' For the Weekend" simply because I can't help but think of when Chris Farley stripped to it on Saturday Night Live. Once again, the unique song selection makes this a terrific soundtrack. Even if you weren't a fan of the movie, you may end up liking this soundtrack. It has a little something for everyone, and I recommend checking it out.

a Different Feel,
By Sacha Fortin (Toronto, CA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Charlie's Angel: Full Throttle/O.S.T. (Audio CD)
The problem with this movie, I think, is that it tries to be both an action movie as well as this...weird melange of friendship and betrayal, blah blah blah...all the other human elements, in other words. I'd say that the movie fits into both of these categories, but doesn't do a terribly wonderful job of mixing the two moods together. The music follows thusly. All the action scenes work with a techno/metal rock sound, but it would seem that the producers of the soundtrack wanted us to remember the movie less as a sequence of poorly strung-together gunfights and more as the three girls having some fun times together, which is, I think, the story told by all the 80s nostalgia pieces. That said, we all remember the action scenes more, because--let's face it--the film was about two things: 1. kung fu. 2. smut. All the uncredited (well...they're probably credited, but unincluded in the soundtrack) pieces that I know of have been mentioned before. There was a brief snippet of a modernized Peter Gunn Theme, but no one seems to like it that much...yeah. Oh, and whoever it was who said the bridge music was "Get Free" by the Vines? You're a retard. That was "Sleep Now In The Fire." So...yeah. The album isn't that bad; Feel Good Time fits with both the 80s feel but also adds a techno sound to it, which I think is great. Nothing else bears particular mention, but it's some good music for a boring day; nothing really inspiring here.

What happened to some of the tracks?,

This review is from: Charlie's Angel: Full Throttle/O.S.T. (Audio CD)
There are two scenes where I like the songs. First where Dylan is leaving the angels and it's this really pretty guitarish theme. Anyone know what it is? Also when Lucy liu and cameron diaz are chasing the marshall in the car and lucy attatches the thing on it with a luge. That was a cool technoish song. If you have any idea please email me at Vickyssecret113@aol.comThanks!
