Harvest moon is a good game. It would better if there was more time in a day. It's better to buy the game then rent it. If you are looking for a game were u go on dates with 1 of the 3 girls to bad for u. the girls only talk to u and thats all. The game is good because u get to understand what a framer has too day after day.

Harvest Moon: A wonderful life, is an okay game. you play as a boy, get married have children, Go through 6 chapters, watch your son and the town grow. this game will only keep you playing for a few hours, and it tends to get very boring, unlike all the other harvest moon games. It also forces you to get married, or it ends the game. I have never acctually beaten the game, only got half way. I wouldn't recommend it to everyone, but some people seem to enjoy it.

I loved this game. You get to be a farmer or a fisherman,(I was both). You raise animals and crops, get married have a child. This was a great game for kids. It's really easy to play and they get to name their animals too!

Not really for fans of other HMs,

Like most anyone that even knows about this game, I am a Harvest Moon fan. I've put many hours into playing HM: Friends of Mineral Town for GBA and HM: Back to Nature for PSOne, and they have been great experiences. This game will have a good first impression (the reason for all of the good reviews); but it's extended-play and replay value are very poor. This game put me to sleep on several occasions (I'm in Chapter 4 of 6); I'm trying so hard to end this game (that's my motivation to play it right now). It is so repetitive. All the common tasks, such as watering crops and making cheese/butter, are done pretty slowly. For example, watering crops take about 4-5 seconds EACH crop seed (no special can that waters more than one at a time like other HMs and still no sprinkler system). This doesn't seem that long unless you factor in the number of crops (average of 30) and it must be done twice per game day. I've stopped farming and took up sleeping as an occupation so that time will fly. The most annoying thing about this game is the events. First of all, there are no special festivals such as animal contests and birthdays. There are only three boring festivals where you just watch. Festivals are what made the other HM games so special. Moreover, the game description will brag about having over 100 trigger events, but most of them are just basically boring repeats. Additionally, most of the events are so corny, maybe a 5-year old may find it funny. There are many other flaws, but the ones mentioned above are "enough said" ones. On the positive side, this game does have some cool features: If you buy this game, make sure that you have a lot of energy before each play.

this game is one of my favorites and very addictive. I live in a small town so this game was very hard for me to get. I ended up ordering for the first time a year ago from another site. It was my favorite game untill my dog got a hold of it and wrecked it now im waiting for my new version to come. so anyways play this game.

Good, but many problems,

Harvest moon is fun, but very repetitive. There is very little that you can do in it after you tend to the farm. There is one puzzle game, a excavation site with few things to dig up and thats pretty much it. Farming is fun, especially when you start cooking, and the marraige part adds a bit to the game, but they should have a larger choice of girls. Fishing is ok, but they dont have too many species of fish in the game. The graphics are pretty good but the music isnt that good. Luckily, you can get some different music. The cooking system is fun, and there are a fair number of recipes. If you can get past the first year, the game improves noticebly. You have a kid, a bigger house and a wife. The biggest problem is the fact that there is very little to do in the valley you live in. If you buy Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town, the game improves quite a bit because you can visit Mineral Town. Not a game I would overly recommend, but a nice game if you're looking for something more casual and relaxed.

This Game Rocks!,

This game really expands and adds a lot of new features on to the other Harvest Moon games. In the other games you only play for one or two years, which if you have nothing better to do besides play, goes fast. In this new game you can play for six chapters, which is thirty years. There are so many types of animals in the game. Normally you can only have cows, chickens and a horse, but in this game you can raise sheep, goats, and ducks in addition to the other animals. You also can have a pet dog and cat. Another great new feature is that you can cross breed plants. You can mix watermelons with potatoes, and carrots with strawberries. The possobilities are endless. To continue into the 2nd chapter you have to get married. There are three women to choose from, Celia, Nami and Muffy. You also get to start a family. Your son will look like your wife. This game is great. I reccomed it, and the Game Boy Advance version highly. Two thumbs up, 5 stars.
