Sturdy, But Way Overpriced
on January 11, 2015
Over all a good, sturdy ambidextrous joystick, but incredibly overpriced IMO. Fortunately I got mine as a refurb for about $20. I had planned to used it for my left hand as part of a dual-joystick setup in Star Citizen, but it's lack of buttons and altogether missing hat switches mean it's far less superior to even the most basic throttles of any HOTAS solution. It's also worth noting that this joystick does NOT feature a "twist" (Z-)axis.
If you're looking for a joystick for your right hand only, I would suggest skipping this and buying a CH Products 200-568 Combatstick or CH Products 200-571 Fighterstick. For lefties, there's the CH Products 200-503 Flightstick Pro, though it has less buttons and no throttle roller.
