I highly reccomend ATHF... because where else can you watch a giant 8 foot spider wearing a disposable diaper pose as a cardboard 12 year old rapper who had a stroke and raps about an elaborate pyramid scheme to sell diet pills?

While the series has worn off a bit for me from when I was first
enthralled by it's sheer dada- esque insanity, the best episodes still
transcend to inspired levels of bizarre, gross, tweaked humor.

When your starting premise is a giant talking shake,French fries, and wad of
meat living together in suburban New Jersey, how wrong can you go?

It can be hit or miss, but the best episodes ('MC Pee Pants', 'Love
Mummy', 'Dumber Dolls' from season 1, 'The Clowning', 'Total Recarl'
and 'The Last One' from season 3, 'Video Ouija', 'Dusty Gazongas' and
'Hypno Germ' from season 4) rise to a sublime level of hysterical
absurdity, where you're both laughing and shaking your head at the
audacity and bravery of the storytelling.

If you like strange, gonzo humor (Monty Python would be my generation's
touchstone) and/or way out-there adult animation, you owe it to yourself to
give this a try -- and give it a couple of episodes to let your head
get into what the creators are doing.

ATHF is the cartoon equivalent of the blitzkrieg: it hits hard, fast, and by the time it's done, you're crying (from laughter).

each episode is only 10 minutes, but you'll find yourself laughing so much it won't matter. the stories are so random, and involve characters like "the Cybernetic Ghost of Christmas Past" and the Mooninites (they look like Atari characters). furthermore, the dialogues are inspired lunacy, mostly thanks to Shake. this show has a large following, and it's not hard to see why.

I don't see why they have to put this on 2 discs, but you've heard that complaint from others before.

This show is the best! The characters are soooo funny and the plot lines are so werid that they are histerical! I recommend you pick this up if you are older and still like to watch Cartoons!

Aqua Teen Hunger Force is the funniest cartoon I have seen in years. In my opinion it eclipses South Park in sheer bizzareness. This DVD is worth getting just for the beginnings of the episodes featuring Dr. Weird. You'll find yourself saying "What did I just see?!?!? Did he just say that?!?!" Like the liner says on Adult Swim, it will whet your appetite for crazy as hell!

You have got to see this.

When I first saw this show, I thought I was hallucinating because talking fast-food items were on tv living together in a house. The entire concept was ridiculous. But that's just it, if you appreciate the RIDICULOUS, stupid humor the show has to offer, then you will truly enjoy it. I love ATHF because
there isn't really any concrete story line in any of the episodes, and you never know how and when the actual episode will end.
I bought the dvd about a month ago. The only reason I am giving this DVD 4 stars and not 5 is because it was indeed too short. The episodes in themselves only run about 13 minutes a piece, and I don't see the necessity of selling 2 DVDs for 1 season.
I have watched "Mayhem of the Mooninites" about a dozen times, and every time I am falling off my chair in hysterics.
ATHF is most definitely one of the funniest cartoons out there right now, and I can't wait for Season 2.

The show is only about ten minutes long, and it never has a point but its still worth watching. Not a bad buy.

Shake is my favorite character. He's like the cartmen of southpark. Meatwad is the nice one and the one that shows emotion and Frylock is the smart that hates it when some one tuches his computer(...Shake)..Carls the neighbor who looks just like the guy from NYPD blue.
The series is very funny and stupid in some ways.

I love the fact that in ATHF there is never and ending....It just ends...If shake were to have cancer and meatwad was killing carl and frylock was chasing the mooninites IT WOULD JUST END LIKE THAT AND HAVE NO CONCLUSION. Thats what I love about this series.

Every episode was awesome, especially "Bus of the Undead".

It is for people who like very stupid humor such as myself. I love this type of humor.

I can't wait for Volumes 2 to come out..July 20 I think...
