Several parallel stories of different people and over generations about aliens and deception. The term "Taken" refers to being abducted by aliens; however more than a few people are taken by more than just aliens. Even we will feel that ewe have been taken. They toss in all the "Area 51" clich's. Naturally all the authorities want to track down the victims and ether use them or kill them while keeping this all a secret. Looks liker the even borrowed from "Fire Starter"

This is a well made professional presentation from the realistic sets to the basic story. You could not wait for the next installation and liked to watch the previous chapters to see what you may have missed.

Réception en quelques jours, bien enveloppé, aucun dommage, coffret neuf dans son célophane, 6 DVD comportant chacun 2 émissions.

De beaux souvenirs des émissions vues à CBC en anglais et ensuite à la SRC en français, sans les pubs et - j'ai des doutes non vérifiés - sans quelques coupures lors de la mise en ondes.

Prix : Le coffret se vendait 300 DCA après sa diffusion. Pour moins de 60 DCA aujourd'hui, comment ne pas vouloir se faire plaisir. Hi, hi

The first four or five episodes are really good, after that it seems they simply ran out of good actors. The direction really drops off. It is almost as if Spielburg becomes completely obssessed with the little girl and ignores all the other actors. The first few episodes are a really good though and makes it worth the money.

This is one of the best Si-Fi series yet. I've seen it at leat three times on TV but by buying this CD set I no longer have to sit through 5 plus hours of commericials as is with the the 10 hour TV version.

I hope someday there is a TAKEN II showing the return of Alie...

Great Miniseries that was on TV long time ago about alien abductions. The story spans several generations and shows genuine human reactions to the events. Worth purchasing. Dakota Fanning is very cute in this one as a girl affected by the alien encounters making her wise beyond her age. Several great actors appear throughout this series.
