What is up with all the 5 star reviewers? Have they never played the original Sonic games on the Genesis?

Let me guess, they're all playing Shadow The Hegehog with their emo friends listening to My Chemical Romance slitting their wrists. Anyways, it's about time the truth is made about this game.

YOU ARE NOT MISSING ANYTHING IF YOU DON'T HAVE THIS GAME. DON'T MAKE THE MISTAKE THAT I MADE AND BUY THIS.

The multiplayer is so laggy, and you need to unlock pratically everything. In SP the characters won't stfu, even when you don't go near any hint orbs, they still talk anyway.

Seems like Sega is losing their touch, ever since Sonic Adventure, I started to dislike the spiky blue hedgehog

I cannot belive you have said it is a disgrace on the game "8- year old gamer". Anyways it has good graphics it is good about the 3-play. I think #8 is the hardest one. I love the game and when I get on summer holidays I will be excited.

This is better than any classic Sonic game, or even the Adventure games! I loved those too, but this is the ultimate! You get to play as 4 teams with some of your favorite carachters. The teams are: Team Sonic (Sonic, Tails, Knuckles)(DUH!), Team Dark (Shadow, Rouge, Omega), Team Rose (Amy, Cream, Big), and Team Chaotix (Espio, Charmy, Vector)... I beat the whole game with all 4 teams, and the last story too!! I dont wanna spoil any last story info, to those who havent beat it. Im gonna tell the storylines of the 4 teams story modes...

Team Sonic: While Sonic races around the rocks in the mountains, Tails and Knuckles come back and give Sonic an evil letter from Eggman. Eggman: MUHAHAHAHA!! Guess what, Sonic Heroes?! Ive finally devoloped the ultimate weapon and will conquer the world in 3 days! Think you can stop me!? MUHAHAHAHA!! Oh, that dumb robot, he always thinks he can really destroy Sonic. Back to the story. Then, Sonic, Tails, & Knuckles speed off to find Eggman.

Team Dark: Rouge breaks into Eggman's base to find his secret treasure. But, suddenly in this room, she finds Shadow, only to find out that he has amneisa! What also happens is Rouge accidently frees E-123 Omega, the most powerful E-Series robot. Omega: Must eraticate all Eggman's robots! Eggman just sealed him away, and didnt pay any attention to him. Eggman! OK, then, Rouge, Shadow, and Omega join forces to look for Eggman, and to try to get Shadow's memory back.

Team Rose: It's a lovely day... Amy reads the newspaper, and finds Sonic, Froggy, and Chacola. Chacola is Cheese The Chao's brother. And, yall know Froggy, hes Big's pet and buddy. Suddenly, the newspaper and Cream get blown by the wind. Big catches Cream with his fishing rod... Cream & Big look in the newspaper too, and are sad to find Chacola and Froggy missing. So, they set off to find Froggy, Chacola, and Sonic...

Team Chaotix: This is their second appearence. They were orignally with Knuckles in a game called Knuckles Chaotix. Ok... It's a lazy day in the Chaotix Dective Agency's place, until Charmy comes in and finds a delivery. When they open it, a radio with a strange voice is tellin them that he can pay them handsomly. Charmy & Vector just are delighted and have cash in their eyes! LOL! Espio has a bad feeling about it. Vector: Espio, dont be silly! You know our policy, we never turn down work that pays. Charmy: Yeah, you know our policy! So, they head off to get their rewards. Im not spoiling who the clinet really is.

P.S. Buy this game if you have a Gamecube, XBOX, or PS2 ASAP!

Yeah most people either love this or hate it but I just thought it was alright.It was a mediocre game plain and simple.For one thing the graphics dont look any better than the previous 3D Sonic games.Bright and colofful big deal.Ive seen it before.Controls are alright.Challenge well I have to admit the Dark Team is pretty damn hard but other than that if you want a challenge buy Resident Evil or Ocarina Of Time.Overall this was a very bland game and its a shame that not one decent platform game for this system has come out this year.

This is a GREAT game,and i beat ALL of it(yes,even final or last stage as some people call it.)This is how you do it(oh ya,NOT a cheat code,sorry.)When in bonus stage,while collecting the colored balloons and star balloons,hold down the B button.This will speed you to the chaos emerald.But watch the boost meter and especially the spike balls on the path,they will decrease your boost and speed.This way,i got all 7 chaos emeralds in a half hour non stop!Overall.great game.Hope this helped you out!

This game is a fun action videogame.It is about stopping Eggman with his most evil plans.This game has four teams each team has three players.You can use three players at one time.The teams names are Team Sonic,Team Dark,Team Rose,and Team Chaotix.These teams are very powerful.Their is 12 stages to complete.I know its not really a lot but the levels are very hard and fun.This would be a great gift for someone who likes sonic or action games but thats what I think.This game is awsome and very enjoyable.Oh almost forgot the features are these. A team of 3 Sonic characters through massive levels to overcome Dr. Eggman.

Each character has its own strenghts and weaknesses
Control 3 characters at once for a whole new gaming experience
For 1 or 2 players.And on team sonic the players are Sonic,Knuckles,and Tails.For team dark Shadow,Rouge,and Omega.For team rose Amy,Cream and Cheese,And Big.For the last team the players in team chaotix are Espeio,Rector,and Charmy Bee.

This game is a disgrace to the Sega name!*Rages, storms around.* Sure, the chaotix team is fun to play as, but apart from that, non-buyers arn't missing a thing. I rented this game yesterday, and I'm so glad I didn't buy it. There are four teams, each with thier own level of hardness. Team rose(amy, cream,and big)is the easy team. Team sonic(sonic, tails, and knuckles) and team chaotix(espio,charmy bee,and vector) are the medium teams. Team dark(shadow,rouge, and omega) is the hard team.I'm listing the game's pros. and cons. below.

Well, it looks like we each learned something during this reveiw. You learned not to get Sonic Heroes, and I learned not to...well, never mind.

This game starts out really easy but gets increasingly difficult.After the 4th level you start to lose interest because it gets disorenting especially if you cant remember what button to push to put a different character in the lead. I must admit that the graphics are pretty good not as good as Sonic Adventure DX's but still pretty and colorful to look at.I think that the biggest flaw in this game is that its disoerenting because you have to make split decisions and for another thing some of the camera angles are absolutely terrible and really mess you up.Another flaw is that the music is bland and the character's voices are irritating.I also think it was a big mistake to make a 3D Sonic game with team formations.2D is hard enough and out of all the Sonic games Ive played this is the one that I just absolutely did not like at all.Luckily I rented it instead of wasting 50 bucks on it and I definitely wouldnt buy it.

Having played Sonic since the Sega Genesis, I looked forward (with some hesitation) to "Sonic Heroes".

Overall, its a decent game however there are still issues that I would had liked to seen resolved since the "Sonic Adventures" on the Dreamcast.

The most important issue being the camera control! The camera control has only been slightly improved since the "Adventures" and still has the player performing blind jumps in many situations.

Playing Sonic, Knuckles, and Tails (switching on the fly) is implimented very well, I must say. Having all three characters, each with the individual strengths, available is an excellent model that Sega brought forth.

Its just unfortunate that the camera control wasn't improved greatly.

Its a decent game, overall, though. If you are a Sonic fan, you'll get enjoyment out of it. If not, then you may want to rent it first.
