I'm amazed at how much she enjoys this video. Settling and calming herself down has always been a challenge, and yet here she is, practising the different types of breathing, winding up with the "silly" exercises at the beginnning and winding down with the "calm" segment at the end. It's a wonderful tool for getting the wigglies out, particularly at the end of the day when I need to make dinner. I intend to lend it to her teacher to try out with the class on a rainy day.

Marsha Wenig has a soothing but fun presence, and the kids who do the moves on camera project enthusiasm and enjoyment.

This is an amazing dvd! It is perfect for when my kids (2 and 4) are feeling really energetic - it gives them a place to put that energy that starts off silly and free, and moves slowly into a more centered, calm place! And it is fun for me too!

IN fact, we think it is so great - I have bought this with ABC's and given them as gifts to friends!

The pre-schoolers @ my daycare loved to do the yoga moves and really did calm down afterwards. Some actually were disappointed it was over & asked to do more!

I first tried this when I found it at the library in an attempt to find a way to help my active and busy class of full day kindergarteners to calm down after lunch and get ready for the afternoon. At first I was worried they wouldn't like it but they loved it and actually get upset if we can't do it one day. Of all the moves it is actually the breathing poses they love the most, so sometimes when they are really wound up I will just skip to the last 15 minutes of breathing. Plus they are adorable when they do it! I would highly reccomend it for any kid. They also enjoy the ABC Yoga Kids as well.

I love this DVD, and most importantly so does my son. It's creative and easy to follow, perfectly adapted to the young crowd, and my son loves the idea of having his own yoga DVD and being able to do it as often as he wants. So far it's teaching my son self control and calm, and it makes him feel good.

My 3 year-old (almost 4) loves this DVD. It challenges her, especially the balance poses, but she doesn't find it discouraging and has happily gone through the whole half hour many times -- in fact, she requests it regularly. Highly recommended.
