9.) Act Naturally - Aired March 22, 2002

10.) A New Beginning - Aired October 4, 2002

11.) Eye of the Storm - Aired December 13, 2002
Syd's good intentions put her in harm's way a week before her wedding. Robbie and Tina get a suprise visitor at the B&B.

12.) The Eleventh Hour - Aired December 21, 2002
Series two-hour finale; Syd prepares to embark on a new life with Owen until a hostage situation at the ER threatens her marital bliss.

This show won my heart the first time I ever saw it and I was a dedicated fan until it ended in 2002. I, like any other fan of the show, was sad to see it go but nothing lasts forever. I recommend buying this DVD. It has 12 of the better episodes of this series. Hopefully someday in the future, someone will put together the entire series on DVD.

P.S. If you want to watch all the old episodes of Providence, watch Lifetime. It aires at 1:00pm and 8:00pm.

I bought this DVD collection for my mom because she recently started to watch it and loves the show. It is on every Sunday at 10am on W Network(Ch.62) here in Ottawa, Canada. I would love for them to come out with the rest of the series. A great gift for any Providence fan.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Show!, July 16 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: Providence: Collection (DVD)
I loved this show when it was on the air. Every Friday I had to catch the show - either I'd go home & watch it or tape the show. It was funny & serious. I loved the Barkery - such a cute store that Joanie had. Hopefully a lot of people will buy this DVD & they will release the remainder of the shows. Side note: it's on ABC-Channel 7 at 2:30 or 3 a.m. Mon (check local TV guide). I was taping it for a while, then noticed it was airing on Lifetime at 8 p.m. EST.

Nice collection-good beginning, I was so glad when I received the packet-here in germany it is not on sale! It is a wonderful serie, for the whole family. And I would have rated five stars if there where more episodes and specials on the Providence DVD collection.
I hope that there will be released more soon. And no more collection- I think all fans of this serie are waiting for the complete seasons!!!! That would be wonderfull!!

2.0 out of 5 stars The Providence Collection DVD ( 4 disks/12 episodes), May 29 2004

The first disk of the four disk collection we received was suppose to have 4 episodes, but our first disk only had 2 episodes. What happened to episodes 3 & 4? We enjoyed the episodes that we did get, that's why we rate it 2 stars instead of 1 star. (Disappointed Providence fan)

5.0 out of 5 stars The Hansen Family's Life: Not Always Smooth, But Never Dull, May 19 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: Providence: Collection (DVD)
I ordered this DVD a week ago and received it today- one day after the DVD was released. Can you imagine how happy I was!!! First of all, the DVD box got me excited....It featured beautiful pictures (some of which I have never seen before) Each disc features a picture of the cast. The DVD comes with a small booklet with a letter from John Masius, the creator of the show. The letter was very touching, and you get a lump in your throat when you read it. The booklet also describes each episode.

For those of you who are disapointed that the Theme song wasn't featured before each episode, I recommend that you buy the Providence soundtrack: It features 2 versions of "In My Life" and if you recall, the last episode of Season 5 of Providence titled "The Eleventh Hour", featured "In My Life" by Chantal Kreviazuk at the end of the episode.

Kudos to Lion's Gate Entertainment and all the other people involved in making the Providence DVD dream become a reality.

3.0 out of 5 stars Why Only 12 Episodes and NO Theme Song???, May 16 2004
By

As many on Amazon, I've had this pre-ordered since I heard about it. And while it will be nice to have some Providence episodes on DVD, why only 12?! And the fact I've just read that "In My Life" WILL NOT be featured on the opening segment of any of the episodes credits is really ridiculous. I'm giving the set an advanced 3 stars for at least making some episodes available and for some interesting extras. Makes me wonder, though, if any other popular songs featured on the sountrack of the episodes may not be provided, as well....
