Lovvvvve Felicity!!!!!,

This review is from: Felicity:S3 (DVD)
I can't wait for this DVD to come out!! I am still in shock that they ever took it off the air. It was the only show I ever made sure to watch each week. The WB screwed up when they let go of this one. It's the only show that was truly a work of art. Plus it was so real to life and you could totally see where they were coming from. Plus the triangle of Noel, Ben and Felicity was great. Incredible actors and incredible script. Too bad they let it go, they really had something. Good thing we can get it on DVD atleast. I wish they would sale 3 and 4 at the same time instead of making us wait. Anyway AWESOME show and can't wait to buy it. If you've never seen it, buy it you wont regret it!!!

Glad to have it, but a little light on special features,

It's been a long wait for the DVD release of Felicity's Junior year, the third year in a series which was always thoughtful, intimate and well-acted. This is the year, though, which has the weakest moments of the drama's four year run. There's Ben's predictable dalliance with socialiate Avery, Noel's (as "Leon") unpredictable but pointless marriage to Natalie, Sean's brush with cancer, the melodramatic and contrived shooting incident involving short-term English roommate Molly -- the one with the drug addiction and abusive boyfriend, naturally -- and Tracy's long mid-season absence from the show, leading to Elana's involvement with fellow student DeForrest. That said, there are some highlights, besides the usual charming Felicity moments that survive amid the uneven season: Meghan and Sean enter therapy, which provides some levity and insight; Episode 13 ("The Blackout") is one of the best episodes ever; Ruby's return in the final episode is a nice touch; Ben's father, deftly played by the late John Ritter, is first introduced. As for the DVD itself, it's pretty light on special features, but there's enough there to interest most fans. There's a bit from MadTV featuring Keri Russell lampooning Felicity, a mini-doc on Junior Year called "docuventary," featuring Greg Grunberg and, of course, the usual audio commentary. The episodes can also be played with Spanish audio, which is a kick (at least, for English-only speakers like myself). Can't wait for Senior Year, which is the best of all four seasons. Look out, Felicity! Hannah's on her way back and I think she's learned Kung-Fu!

This series is the best drama ever! It's so pure and intense. This series has so much feeling to it. There's depth and detail, but it's also very entertaining. This is a series that knows how to balance drama and humor. And the characters feel real. I'll pick Felicity over any other series to watch. Felicity represents drama at its best. Too bad there isn't much good drama anymore. When Felicity got cancelled, it came as a shock. Though my worry was that if Felicity would continue another season, that it would end up repeating itself. So in all, the four seasons of Felicity present a nice rounded off story that all takes place in college. My season 3 box will arrive shortly. I'm so excited. The only thing bothering me is that some of the episodes from season 1 and 2 DVDs have different music than was broadcasted. I have some of those shows taped and the original broadcasted music is much better - the new audio mix is also done pretty badly. For those episodes, I'll watch the video tapes.

when I was working in NY I asked for Wednesday to be my day off so that I could watch Felicity, no other reason but to not miss felicity. I didnt miss one episode of any season and I taped most of them! and when I saw the first dvd set come out on sale I almost cried I was so happy! then I got the second one and I am so psyched about the third, I just wish it was here already. I loved this show soooooooooo much and was sad that it ended but sooooooo happy I can watch it all over and over again!

I am so glad to see so many people as enthused as I am about Felicity. I loved the show so much in 2000 I had a little girl and I named her that. The show was the best on television and at the time the WB was really doing a terrific job of putting out really good drama. With Buffy and Angel and The Gilmore Girls. I am sad to see so many of these shows gone now because there is really nothing on TV. I am about put out with Reality shows and women degrading themselves to marry an ex athlete or some rich guy or better still an Australian outback dude. The state of television is literally down the tubes. I have to say FX is the only station doing a good job with releasing any good new shows. So thank you thank you Buena Vista for releasing something I can watch at the end of a hard day that has some substance to it. If it wasn't for DVD's like these I do not know what would happen to us. If anyone agrees with any of this give three cheers!!

I can't believe it took so long for the third season to come out!! I didn't think they would ever put it out :( I watched the show since the very beginning, never missed an episode and have most of it on tape. The show is by far the best show I have ever seen. Excellent writing. Anyone can relate to it; it's my mom's favorite also(she's in love with Noel). I watched it through highschool on television and now through college on dvd. When I got the first and second seasons I didn't sleep for like two days because I couldn't turn it off! I really hope they hurry up with the fourth season.

I have to admit, as a guy, I loved this show! I got started on it by my girlfriend, but I came to love it myself. I really identify with Ben, who had to struggle with an alcoholic father that tore his family apart, much like my circumstances. It's much more than just a 'chick' show. I've loved a lot of television shows, like Seinfeld, ER, and The West Wing, but this definitely makes it on that list. Give it a chance, you'll love it.

This was the only show on TV that actually portrayed college life. I mean I watched Felicity throughout the four years it was on, and I couldn't wait to see it every week. I loved this show! It's so stupid that the show lost viewers just because she cut her hair. It was original. The writing was excellent. I loved the development of the Ben/Felicity relationship, the characters stories, the life decisions, the real problems college students could face, the deep friendships, and mainly that it was about finding yourself and developing into an adult. Every character was interesting. The comedy was actually funny. It was a real show people could relate to, and though it may be ridiculous to say this about a TV show, it did influence me in many ways. At least we have the DVDs to keep the memories alive. And finally, I would like to hope there's a Ben or Noel out there for every girl and a Felicity for every guy.
