By accident, I read an article on the director who has family ties to Isle of Skye, my paternal home, decided to investigate the backgroound story through the Internet;then, searched for the movie.A remarkable story of persistence in face of a mental infliction with the dedicated support of wife and friends. Just sorry that it was nor afforded full release in Canada,

J'avais entendu parler de Graeme Obree, cet athlète innovateur et controversé, dans le monde du cyclisme alors que le sport était différent d'aujourd'hui. J'ai adoré! Je voulais voir un film avec cet acteur britannique, Jonny Lee Miller, avec une voix chaude et une simplicité intéressante et il est parfait pour le rôle du cycliste. Lui même est un marathonien...On suit l'histoire avec passion et on sympathise pour toutes ses difficultés, ses découragments, ses démons personnels.Une belle histoire humaine et moderne. Tous les cyclismes qui font de la compétition devraient voir ce film.
