I found this container to work as advertised. The design is very useful and provides for a great meal especially for those who are trying to portion control. Easy to clean design makes it hard not to use.

One design aspect that needs work would be the main dish container with the thermal lid. It is not leak proof and thus any food placed inside needs to be dry or there is a high risk of spillage. That being said, the leaking wil not spread into the other food containers and it is easy to clean once found.

Great product. 4 cases. I need two top cases to fill up fruits, bottom two with warm rice and meals, I used this product for more than one month now, I will buy a new one for my mother in law also

Being one who constantly bring food for lunch, I awaited for this product with much anticipation. Unfortunately, it was not what I hoped for. It keeps only the bottom 2 warm and the bottom should be piping hot to maintain the warmth.

Also, the bottom container for soup should be used mainly for REALLY watery and no-fat soup as the nooks and crannies of the tub are not easy to de-grease! Also, heed the user's guide when it says contents might spill - it will when the jar tilts on either side!

The lunch jar is currently sitting in my cupboard awaiting the day when I have enough time to prep a hot non-fat soup to keep the rest of the food warm. A friend suggested I just fill the bottom container with hot water in the morning. Ummm ... better use my microwaveable corning ware lunch containers!

Very convenient and the size of the containers are perfect for the right amount of food. I just purchased my second one with three containers.

My husband was looking for something like this in every store,when I found it here I ordered it and I recieved in one day,and is really a good product.

Although handy the zojirushi SL-JAE 14 Mr. Bento Stainless Steel Lunch Jar to me, was not worth the $53+. Priced way too high!
