While some other reviewers have found this workout hard to follow, it is not difficult. I think I found it harder to follow the first time, but after you've done it a couple of times, it becomes very easy. You actually get 40 minutes with this workout (Quick Fix is usually three ten minute sections), so you can pick and choose, or do all four segments for a longer workout. For each segment, she takes you though one move at a time, adding the first half's moves together, and then the second. At the end of each ten-minute segment, you put it all together and do the routine a couple of times. It is not an incredibly vigorous workout, but it is a good light cardio workout. Like all Quick Fix DVDs, there is no warm up or cool down, but since this is just light dancing, you don't really need either (though I always stretch afterwards). The instructor is very pleasant and the music and moves are for the most part fantastic. I pair this workout with weights, or just do it on a low energy day.

I absolutely love this video. It's good for beginners and the challenge section is something you get used to after a while. However, it could get repetitive really fast and I wish there were more than 4 workouts. I recommend it for anyone starting out.

I consider myself to be a person with rhythm, but with no actual dance experience, I found this work out difficult to follow. The moves are subtle and each time I tried it I ended up not getting a very good work out and now it just gathers dust.

I am very new to HipHop and have never tried it before. Nevertheless, I ordered it because of the good reviews and I am not disappointed! I have not gotten through all the workouts yet, and am still on Workout 1 & 2, but have had lots of fun (maybe my neighbours too?). The workout isn't too tough, but keeps my heart rate up at a nice level. Like some of the other reviewers, I have had to rewind and do the Workouts a couple of times.

It would have been nice to have more practice with the moves. Not for the inexperienced dancer/stepper. Even my daughter who takes hip/hop had problems keeping up. Someone could get quite frustrated.

I found this DVD to be just challenging enough to be fun and not boring but not sooo hard that it's too frustrating to learn the dance moves. I have NO dance experience and it only took a couple times through each segment (with lots of pausing & rewinding!) to get the basic moves down. I like this workout alot more than Paula Abdul's "Cardio Dance". If you like this, you'll also like Crunch's "Fat Burning Dance Party" (gee I sound like a commercial!)

I've been doing "cardio"-type videos for a while now, but when I first started this one, I found it pretty challenging!! The moves are great, and the hip hop idea is excellent. The workouts are short, which is good for people on-the-go, but it doesn't actually "tell" you how to do any of the moves. I caught on after a few weeks, and a lot of pausing and rewinding the little bits to see whatever move I couldn't get. After a few weeks, I could do them all. But, I could see why it would be challenging for people who are new to dance/i.e. hip hop routines. I also wish the camera would angle the feet (more often) on certain difficult moves... (instead of at the girls' smiling faces).

I appreciated the short 10 minute sessions the most in the beginning, because I am out of shape. I started with the first session and did that one over and over until I learned the routine. Now, less than 4 weeks later, I do all 4 sessions every day and am very comfortable with the program. I work up a sweat, learn new dance moves, hear good music beats, and really enjoy myself each time I do the workout. And now best of all, Im starting to loose inches from my waist!
