A solid album with some great "independant" music for an excellent cause. It only lost a star here on Amazon.ca because I've found it for cheaper in stores.
Great songs from a variety of artists. Joey Cook sings probably his better song of the two he's got on this CD series. I think I liked Allison Lickley's track "Time" from the 2002 album better than this new song though. Amazing guitar work from the Bontempi Minstrels on "Richard Dreyfus" I'm undecided as of yet whether I like it better than "Phasers on love" but the fact I'm finding it hard to choose is a sentiment in itself.
Some great new bands add to this series of compilations this year. Looking forward to good things as they perhaps mature on next years album.
Keep up the good work! I know that proceeds from the sale of this album benefit the Canadian Cancer society and as a survivor I appreciate it!

Really great disc and a great cause. Highlights are definitely the ska tune "I Hate Broccoli" by Dogman Don't, the Gerry Oaktree Seven's fun and catchy "Wine Song", and Sharlene and Jolene Keats stunningly haunting track "Ain't That Always the Way". I recommend this disc to everyone!!
