The Martians are coming! The Martians are coming! Well one for sure. I've purchased DVD's from the Rhino label in the past and have been very disappointed with the picture and sound quality. After much deliberation I finally gave in and bought season one of "My Favorite Martian". I must admit that Rhino did and excellent job with this one and fans will be pleased with the quality. All 37 season one episodes are presented in beautiful black & white and they look great. The video transfer is really clean and crisp and the sound is pretty decent. The packaging is really kind of cheap for this 3 disc set and Rhino didn't include any kind of episode booklet to accompany the DVD's. I don't think Ray Walston ever got the recognition he truly deserved as an actor. Season one of "My Favorite Martian" is still entertaining after all these years and it's a treat to finally own it on DVD. Thanks Rhino!

It's just great to see this sort of tripe coming out on DVD so those of us who sat through MFM the first time can watch it again. Funny, witty, corny as and displaying all the characteristics of 1960's understandings of outer space. Get this if for no other reason than you can bore the rest of the family rigid and then sneak off into the den and indulge yourself with hours of re-runs and laugh yourself silly. Buy this DVD. It's so worth it.
