The packaging of this collection is outstanding and truly honours the musical legacy that Mr. Jackson left behind.

Five CDs chronologically reunite numerous musical landmarks within his illustrious musical career.
As one of his die-hard fans, I own all other greatest hits compilations released by either Motown and or Sony and can safely assure you this is without a doubt the best Michael Jackson package on the market.

I personally love Disc three and find it to be exceptional. You hear the early unreleased version of Dangerous that suddenly provides you with a new take and new life on this song.
Disc three also offers such great rarities as the songs "Cheater", the ballad "Someone Put Your Hand Out" and the new-jack vibe of "Monkey Business" as well as a refreshed IHS remix of "Who Is It".

Providing the listeners with the luxury of auditioning five CDs allows this collection to chronologically track and respect the route of Jackson's musical career better than the other greatest hits compilations currently on the market.

The book is carefully crafted to visually transport listeners back in time when as a child star and then as an adult superstar, Mr. Jackson sat on top of the world of entertainment.

The beneficial aspect of this compilation is you will acquire an in-depth musical class on Michael Jackson and come to the realisation, that for various reasons, he shall remain crowned the undisputed King of Pop.

This collection just about captures Michael Jackson's genius in its entirety. There's the favorites that everyone knows, with a handful of unreleased and/or demo songs that highlight his talent further. I've enjoyed the CDs from 1 to 4, have yet to view the DVD but am guaranteed it will bring back fond memories of the amazement Michael brought the world. It's bittersweet - love that this history of his music is caught up in one collection, so very sad that it will never be repeated. RIP Michael.

The main reason I bought this was the inclusion of those lovely early Motown Jackson 5 - recordings as well as the concert-DVD; let's face it, mr Jackson can, in fact pull off a great show. The concert is from Bucharest/Dangerous Tour.

I also think that the presentation of the box is wonderful, it's coolish-black, CD's are neat-looking and there's a nice, thick booklet, too. A fine read.

There are also lot's of sort of bonusmaterial in the discs, B-sides, alternative takes, demos. Marvellous.

Recommended for the die-hards as well as more casual fans, you will not be disappointed.

If you're looking at this product, The Michael Jackson Collection (released in 2004), then you are either a fan of MJ or know someone who is and are looking for a gift. In either cases this is a great collection which covers his whole career, and best of all the songs are all in order of release. You get songs, hits, unreleased tracks, demos and rarities(you can check the top reviews which describes the content and judge by yourself if this is worth it).If you're considering buying a compilation but would like to go one step further this might be what you're looking for. It doesn't cost a whole lot, is affordable and offers a lot for the price trust me; I've paid much more for less. The fact that you also get the excellent Live In Bucharest DVD with the set is another great reason to buy it. Do the math, buy the Bucharest DVD and a greatest hits compilation and there isn't a huge difference with the price of this set and you get much more with The Ultimate Collection. If you already have the DVD and own the original songs it is still worth buying for the unreleased content.A great way to honor the work of a great man.

This is an excellent collection of MJ's work. I LOVE the never-before-released tracks and/or demos and of course, the DVD of MJ in concert in Bucharest is absolutely amazing to watch. He is a sight to behold and a treasure for the world to enjoy for years to come. I'll never tire of watching him sing and dance. WOW!!! This item is worth every penny.

I deeply recommend to take a look at this incredible selection of Michael' songs, including some amusing and brand new takes like "We've had enough" which has been recorded this very year!. The DVD of the Dangerous World Tour in Bucharest shows Michael amazing and gravity defiant talent into movement, in one of his best perfomances ever. This Box Set shows Michael's evolution, from the Motown sound to his more personal and creative compositions.

The Michael Jackson Ultimate Collection was an excellent addition to my extensive collection, because now I have some songs that I did not have as well as new tracks that were not released. Of course these tracks sound very good and I love these new songs becaus they show Michael genious ability to write songs. The concert DVD was a plus and I highly recommend that Michael Jackson fans add this collection it is well worth the money and the nice book that comes with it is packed with pictures and information about the King of Pop as well as the nice box every thing is neatly packaged in I love it.

MICHAEL JACKSON IS THE BEST SINGER OUT THERE! This box set is going to be the best Michael Jackson has ever come out with to date. I cant wate to see the DVD and listen to all the songs that were never released to an album and I know there are going to be great. To bad he did not put the song XSCAPE on this cd I heard it the other day and its AMAZING!
