A unique aspect of this Mario Party, is that it actually changes between night and day; which various events happen when it does so. However, the first map can be a bit... unbalanced. I was able to get 5 stars in a row in one turn! I don't like the idea that you have to earn star points to unlock more things. Most people will expire the game's playability by the time they even have enough to unlock the extra map.
The maps are very good however, I think MP 5 & 6 are the best ones released on the GameCube. On a side note, Mario Party 3 on the N64 was the best.
I still find the bonus microphone feature to be strange. Good thing you can disable it.
