This review is from: The Man Who Planted Trees [Import] (DVD)
A moving story, enhanced by animation that creates an emotional mood. This is a great story of the power of one individual to bring about immense positive change in their world. Briefly, but also on a broad basis makes reference to God--athiests take cover.

The Man Who Planted Trees Sometimes I need something to overcome my feeling of helplessness and slip-sliding away that seems to be the sum of the day's, the week's, the month's media images and words - Seeing this short cartoon again, which I remember seeing many years ago, helps lessen that feeling. It is a good story made alive by the animation and drawing. It reminds me that all I can do is my best.
