J'adore les épisodes de Charmed et depuis toujours j'écoute les émissions, je suis beaucoup décu de pas trouvé de dvd en francais encore au Québec...c'est pas tout le monde qui parle Anglais, fair venir la serie D'europe en vaut il la peine ou un jour Amazone va vendre la série au Québec? Beaucoup de fan en serai reconnaissant d'ailleur je recommande cette serie a tout le monde....soyez patien ami du Québec! pt un jour...

As you can tell from the title of my review, I was a little disappointed by this DVD. Of course I'm not disappointed with the show, but more so the features, or lack of features on the discs.

There are absolutely NO special features and not even subtitles!!!
It seems like someone just threw the episodes together really quick and put them up on sale!

If you don't mind Paramount's lack of S.F., this is something truly fun to sit and unwind on. A superntural dramedy from Aaron Spelling (the guy behind another kind of trio, Charlie's Angels) and Constance M. Burge. It's very lighthearted, but when it does deep, it does it well. Recommended to fans of: Sister relationships, Witches, Chick Flicks, Good Vs. Evil...

J'ai vue tout les épisode de la première saison de Charmed, ainsi que pratiquement tous les épisode de la série jusqu'à maintenant, mais je suis déçu que les DVD ne soient disponible qu'en anglais. Je suis une personne qui préfère écouter les version originale, mais il me semble, qui si les coffret DVD sont disponible en Europe en français, il pourrais en être pareil pour le Québec.

I have been Charmed by Charmed! Since the show's debut in 1998, I have been a loyal fan and was thrilled when the Charmed DVD was released. I have watched the episodes from Season 1 many times, and find them extremely enjoyable.

For the individual who wrote the review claiming only "people who have an IQ above their shoe size would like this show", I beg to note that his IQ cannot be very high since he doesn't know how to spell "effects" "dignity" and uses capital letters in the middle of a sentence for no grammatically correct reason.

For all others considering purchasing the Charmed DVD, this show consistently offers episodes which centre around values, family and of course, sheer fun and entertainment. A must have for any Charmed fan!

I think this dvd is the best dvd ever!! even though there no special features, i enjoyed very much. it is worth every penny!!! ive cuold watch every episode over and over again!! i cant wait for the next season!!!

Well I am the proud owner of this first season of the three sisters, and for all it's worth I am HAPPY!
As much as I love the premises of the show and all the fun ghols and warlocks, I have found, now that I am used to the Fourth sister Paige from season 4 on, I have come to realize that I don't like Prue (or the actress that played her, she was the least talented of the three actresses and yet got more air time then the other two), with that said, It's all still very enjoyable and My son and Husband enjoy sitting down to wacth them with me, all around Family fun!
As a charmed fan I will cherrish this DVD set and I wait with baited breath for the next seasons to be reased, SOONER rather than later I hope!!!
Don't look for secial features or added comentary though, it's all about the episodes, NUFF SAID! :o)

For so long, people have been petitioning that Charmed be released on DVD... It is now here!
Sure, it would have been great to have some extras on the DVD - though I only bought it for the episodes, not the extras.
So quit whinging and whining, and just enjoy the show for what it is - Great entertainment and a chance to see Alyssa Milano and Shannen Doherty in tight, revealing clothing (oh, and Holly Marie Combs' humour)!

I was so glad that the first season of Charmed was finally released on DVD. It has been my favourite show since its debut. Now, let's get the rest of the seasons on DVD so I can build my collection!!!

The advantage of the first season box is that you get to see where it all started. We see how the three sisters become the Charmed Ones. And the program is new enough that we see how they learn to grow and adjust to their new situation.

Soon as with most TV programs they have to borrow plots and it becomes formula and mundane. The stories are all the same and the witchy addition becomes blas'. You may also notice a change of cast as time goes by; this is not for the best. Anyway the program can hold your attention even if it leaves you empty in the end.
