Lots of fun, Great Music, Well Done!, July 27 2005

This is an exellent video! I love the way they introduce art, colors and show how each season turns to the next. My 10 month old laughs at the zebras (they are really cute and funny in their skits). He's also captivated by all the colors and images they show for each season. I think the smartest thing is how they show a color for each season and introduce artists impressions. The very begninnng they show two muffins and the little zebra comes along to paint them (you're thinking what does this have to do with season?) Then, they reveal the rest of the painting (a monet-like) of two huts (that look like the muffins) in the grass. They show this same paiting with different season all through the show....very smart! My son is captivated the entire video. I think this is the best we have so far....we also have Bach, Mozart, Beetohoven, Lang Nursery, Noah, Da Vinci, Neighborhood Animals, and Wordsworth. Monet is definately the best one.

Not one of their best..., May 7 2005

We have numerous Baby Einstein videos and our 7 month old loves them but this one is a little dull - the puppet shows are fun and great to watch (especially the catchy 'spring' one - but everything in between is a little dull - too many pictures of paintings and not enough "splash" to keep our little girl's attention - her favorite by far is Baby Galileo!!
