I have become a complete Poke-Fiend and this game really clinched it. I have not finished it yet, so I don't know how it ends, but I am quite far into it and I can say with complete certainty that Emerald is so far my favorite Pokemon game.I recommend it to everyone, old school Poke-fans and new school ones too!

This game is just as good as I remember it- and it is sooo worth the money. I've been playing it non-stop since I bought it and I don't think I'll be putting it down any time soon. I actually think that it is better than any of the new games they have out now.

This game is very similar to Pokemon Ruby, but there are many more trainers inside. I would say that if you already have Ruby or Sapphire not to buy Emerald.

It's out-dated in just about every respect, and it lacks the nostalgic value of Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen. You're better off waiting for the inevitable remakes which will probably be called something like: Pokemon MagmaRuby and AquaSapphire. If you have an itch to play Pokemon, look elsewhere. Pokemon Black, White, and Platinum are far better.
