This video is not appropriate for kids of an age who would enjoy the book "Goodnight Moon". The video contains interviews with kids discussing such matters as dreaming of parents who have passed away, and an endless variety of nightmares.

This video is a family favorite in our household. It has several children's stories with wonderful animated illustration, interviews with children (which will make you laugh and cry), and songs. The grown-ups enjoy this one just as much as the kids! It's a must-see!

what can i say the story alone is a classic not to mention the other sleepytime tales.. My children love these stories and watch them over and over. With all the crap out there, this video is a breath of fresh air. the only problem is that there is not a dvd yet.....

I didn't think it was good and I didn't understand it. I read it 9 time and still didn't git it and one day i went to the park and i was on the swing and i fell done and i was krying and i went home and i red it agin and it was great and i loved it and i laughed and i laughed and laughed and laughed and laughed and i called my friend and said yuve gottta reed this book and he sed grate and we lived happily eber affer.

This movie is so wonderfully delightful! My daughter just adores it! She has been watching this movie every night since she was 6 months old. Now at 16 months it is still a family favorite. Turn down the lights snuggle in close and enjoy!

When I first received this video as a gift to our 6 month old son I was unsure that this would be enjoyable for him at such a young age. However, this is the first program that he has been completely enraptured by. When he sees the charming little child ask "Does everybody dream?" at the beginning, my son gets a big grin! At 9 months, we still haven't gotten bored with the music (parent friendly) or kids talking about their dreams in between fun stories. A wonderful and worthwhile purchase!

My son loves the book, so when I saw the video I bought it. We love it! The children who talk between stories are so funny we all belly laugh! The music and the stories are so well done that I would recommend it for ages 2 to 8. My daughter who is almost 6 loves it too. A must have for your collection!

It is a very interesting and creative video, except one of the scary story that I have to fast forward everytime. I watch this with my daughter. I guess I have watched at least 10 times already. It worth every penny for a kid video because they can watch over and over without feeling bored.

Our 2yo really likes this video and asks for it frequently as part of her bedtime ritual. After viewing it a few times, she is now a bit bored with the children's interviews but is still intrigued by the stories and songs. Although the graphics/animations are fairly similar throughout, there are simply not enough videos of this quality around. Momma and Daddy enjoy this video, also. More stories and songs, less interviews!

Our entire household loves this video. Besides the classic "Goodnight Moon," the vignettes with the children talking about dreams, monsters and other bedtime subjects is wonderful. The songs by Tony Bennett, Lauryn Hill and Patti LaBelle are also terrific. I highly recommend this video and our 17-month old son requests it before bedtime every night.
