I will keep this brief, but for starters I'll state that I was not initially a Tomb Raider fan, I found the storylines yawn-worthy and the puzzles killed my enjoyment of the game (especially getting stuck on them) that said, I'll emphasize that this game is a reboot of the series and improves on these contentions. The puzzles are challenging but fair, and the storyline makes for some edge of your seat enjoyment. Extras such as new outfits for Lara, (my personal fave is her lace goth threads) time trials on finished stages and treasure hunting, make for some good replay value. (you'll especially love exploring Lara's lovely mansion.) All in all you can't go wrong with this title, and as it is a reboot of the series you can pick it up right here from the beginning without feeling you're too late to understand what the heck is happening. (I'm speaking particularly to Lara Croft rookies) I also have no doubt that seasoned Tomb Raider fans will appreciate this game as well. New fan or old...I challenge you to give this little gem a try, I doubt you'll regret it.
