This is an interesting serial killer movie which serves more for entertainment purposes than informational. You'll find yourself engrossed and at times repulsed by this sickening killer. I'd recommend it for those who are interested in these types of movies and don't want to be bored by a long court-room drama, as this movie doesn't even touch on this aspect.

This movie although at times dragged a bit was very well done. I have seen Chainsaw,Silence and Pshyco and now finally the granddaddy of them all the man who started it Eddy Gein. Steve Railsbacks performance was great. Although not as gory as I expected the story was there and thats what I wanted. Ed Gein will have you at the edge of your seat especially the last half an hour.
