This review is from: Baby Einstein - :On the Go - Riding Sailing and Soaring (DVD)
This DVD is wonderful for little boys who, like my son, are already at an early age interested in cars, trucks, and trains, etc. It's longer than other Baby Einstein videos (about 40 minutes) but my son's attention is captured throughout the whole thing. It's divided by kinds of transportation--there's a section called "Things That Go on Land," and one called "Things That Go on Water," and so on. Toddlers are introduced to a myriad of transportation devices--every day things like strollers, school buses and motorcycles to more unusual things like cruiseships and hang gliders. I expected the video to focus on cars and trucks, but it covers absolutely everything. Like other BE videos, it teaches toddlers with a comination of real-life footage and photographs, animation, and puppets, with pleasant music throughout. Like I said my son really loves this video. (He especially loves the "Wheels on the Bus" song since he knows how to say Bus!) It's definitely one of the best Baby Einstein videos out there, especially for little boys, although I'm sure little girls would enjoy it too as it's very colourful and interesting. |
