5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome album!
I don't really get why some people hate this album. I mean seriously: think about how hard work they've done here! It starts out heavy from Twisted Transistor, then it becomes soft up to Open Up. Then it gets dark again all the way from Coming Undone to Tearjerker. This was my first Korn album and I thought it was very good! If you were to ever judge a book by its cover,...

2.0 out of 5 stars First Word up, now this....
First, they came up with that horrible CD take a look in the mirror, they followed that up with word up, now this. LEt's face it, Korn sucks now, and they are a mere shadow of the past. I used to be a big fan, but now I'm considering burning my tour shirts, my posters, etc. All of the songs are over produced to the point that there's no musical skills involved in any of...

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome album!,
This review is from: See You On The Other Side (Audio CD)I don't really get why some people hate this album. I mean seriously: think about how hard work they've done here! It starts out heavy from Twisted Transistor, then it becomes soft up to Open Up. Then it gets dark again all the way from Coming Undone to Tearjerker. This was my first Korn album and I thought it was very good! If you were to ever judge a book by its cover, at least think about how much effort an album is created. That's what I would think about if I were you people!
I rate this 5/5, and my most favourites here are 1, 3, 7, 9, 11 and 12. The rest is good. So, no matter what other people say about this, try to think how much effort the band has made their album.
4.0 out of 5 stars A twisted transition,
This was my main problem with 10 Or a 2-Way and Getting Off - the lyrics made me cringe at times, but all in all the cd was still a very good listen and it definitely merited being stuck on repeat just for the creepy but catchy background noise it added. Twisted Transistor (which everyone has heard), Liar, and Throw Me Away were three of my favorites - the latter of the three having a very angst ridden feel which broke up the three songs prior to it which I, at least, thought sounded very similar and were *good* but still seemed to run into one another.
And despite what reviewers before me have said, I loved Tearjerker - I'd venture to say it was my favorite song on the album. It's not their usual fast-paced non stop beat, and by comparison it's a very mellow side of the cd. More than anything else, I thought it was an excellent finish to See You on the Other Side; very gloomy, depressing, creepy feeling and it gives you a sense of conclusion and finality. It was made all the more enjoyable to me just because it was unique from the rest of the album and did show a 'softer' (if you can even call it that) side of KoRn.
Bottom line; if you're a KoRn fan there should be more than enough classic KoRn sounds on this album to inspire a purchase. If you're not a KoRn fan, there's still a lot of merit in See You on the Other Side as long as you can tolerate 'heavier' music and a Manson-quality of voice. Naturally a very dark, creepy-feeling album but if that's your listening preference then See You on the Other Side is your cup of tea.
5.0 out of 5 stars Its the best yet!,
This review is from: See You on the Other Side (Audio CD)I totally love the art work and the music, amazing. Its surely the best yet! The limited edition comes with a cd and a cd with singles and if you load it on your computer, 2 videos come up! Enjoy!
5.0 out of 5 stars THE KoRn album to have,
4.0 out of 5 stars Nice development,
Overall I feel that the Atticus Ross produced numbers are better than the Matrix produced numbers . The Ross numbers just seem more developed and thought out where as some of the Matrix numbers appear a bit messy .
Still a good album .

1.0 out of 5 stars korn sucks badly,
5.0 out of 5 stars Change is good....Sometimes even great,
I for one like this album alot partially cuz it is different and partially cuz it just plain rocks and I can only hope the next album is different from this one. Andhey if it doesn't rock cuz I don't like the change then I am not going to be mad cuz I still have this album and maybe there next change will be better. If you don't evolve you die out or at least become boring and irrelevant.
So I can only suggest to any long time Korn fan, such as myself, give it a bunch of listens and be open minded and if you still don't like it, hey thats your perogative. Just don't be mad at change you never know there next evolution could be the best album you ever heard.
2.0 out of 5 stars First Word up, now this....,
As that editor (who reviewed the album) wrote, it is time to move on... to better bands!
