4.0 out of 5 stars Almost 5 stars, Feb 6 2013

This purchase almost completes my original Scooby-Doo cartoon set. Unfortunately, there are at least two episodes of Scooby that aren't included on this disc set. Other than that I'm very pleased.

I never heard of Dynomutt, dog wonder in France. What a surprise to see that Scooby met this incredible bionic dog.
Picture and sound are also very good and I almost forget there are subtitles in French. Take my advice for what it is but the show is really wonderful !!!!!!!!

This set is SCOOBY-LICIOUS AND DYNO-RIFFIC! As a fan of Hanna Barbera I give this incredible show five stars all the way. The folks at Hanna Barbera knew how to make cartoons with memorable characters. The "Scooby-Doo Dynomutt" hour is full of laughs for the whole family. I don't know what kind of restoration went into the 16 episodes, because the episodes do suffer from age related issues such as debris and speckling. Overall the picture and sound of this show in DVD format is very good and it's really a treat to own it.

I am definitely not a fan of the disc packaging; you have to fumble around too much to get the discs in and out. The other complaint I have is why two single sided discs & two double sided discs for a 16 episode series? The bonus features included are pretty good and I enjoyed watching them. Whether you go for a drive in the "Mystery Machine" or fly the not so friendly skies with the "Blue Falcon" you'll have a blast doing it. I believe that this show still appeals to kid in all of us!

- Scooby-Doo: High Rise Hair Raiser/Dynomutt: Everybody Hyde

4.0 out of 5 stars Great but...., Mar 6 2006

This set looks great.... The box is far better then the Seasons of Scooby Doo Where are you but no labels for Discs 3 or 4 so that we could find out where the extras and episodes are... Not all the episodes are there either. No madam Ape face, Shadoman, or Beast woman to be found. I am a little bit disappointed, but We got the majority of the episodes here.
It was good to see the interviews with some of the voice cast.. That was the high point of the set... You get to see character designs while some of the actors talk about their experience on these shows...
The cartoons though suffer a bit from dirt or white spots prevelant on older shows. Even some scenes show mistakes in the Red Volture episode. All in all the shows look really good on the DVD format.. A little bit of restoration could have helped too.
Please watch this with an open mind as some people are too quick to judge this old show. I hope that all the episodes of Dynomutt will make it on to DVD soon...
The Scooby Doo show was a noble effort from HB but it lacked the feel of the original Scooby Doo series... The Gator Goul and the headless horseman are just 2 of a few favorites on the show... Nice overall....
