I bought this for my Mom, tried it myself first. I was very disappointed. Like other reviewers, it does not do the spoken word well. Despite giving it the correct answer, you would be told you were wrong and your brain age is 80! Oh joy. The written tests weren't that much better. I would write an answer of one (1) and it would read it as a 5. Now how does any system mistake 1 for 5?? I gave up on the brain age tests and settled for Sudoku. It helped me learn how to play it but certainly not by the instructions given. For the Intermediate level, the instructions didn't even make sense. And the time you have to spend with its creator is ridiculous - you end up punching through five or six screens just to get to the games part. And then my personal favourite: he asks you to draw three items. Why? I am not an artist. I just drew circles and then he would tell me what I should have drawn. Big deal. The doctor has a bit of an ego problem!

fun games, easy to learn...people who have trouble with it must need it the most, your brain can't be working too hard if you can't figure the puzzles out! voice recognition works fine, i'm from quebec and had no problems at all. fun to compare brain ages with friends, i would recommend this to anyone who wants to improve their memory or just to pass a few minutes at work.

This 'game' was suggested to me by a renown neurologist to help in my recovery after having a stroke at 42 years old. It is interesting to me how it has helped with my memory for other things such as phone numbers, etc after only a few weeks. This would likely be a great tool for older adults to stay sharp!

I got bored of doing the daily training after only a few times playing it.However, since I love playing Sudoku, this game was totally worth getting. But, without the Sudoku, this would be a waste of money.

I didn't like this game because you are limited in your time. Sure its educational, but limited - since you are only able to do certain stuff with-in the one day (nothing more), unless you want to repeat what you just did. This is game is good for people who are on there lunch at work! That would be it! |
