5.0 out of 5 stars Very Funny
A lot of people are complaining about the length of the clips but if you look in the title it says the best "bits" which means they are only short clips. I think this video does a good job of selecting some of the Classic Mr.Bean moment. All of Mr. Bean is funny but if you want the most popular and most haliarous moment this is a good video to buy.

3.0 out of 5 stars mr. bean is available in Australia
I don't know if they intend to release the complete episodes in the US, but the series is being released in Australia. These are region 4 PAL dvds-you must have a multi region player with a pal converter. So far there are 4 dvds with 8 complete episodes. EZY dvd has them.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great DVD, Aug 20 2003
I'm an obsessed fan of Mr Bean and Although this is bits of Mr Bean - it still includes lots of funny footages. Because it's not enough for me, I am ordering the "complete" collection which they say is still slightly edited.

5.0 out of 5 stars AMERICA NEEDS MORE MR. BEAN MOVIES!!!, Jun 14 2003
By A Customer
My husband and I have always enjoyed Mr. Bean.

Well flash forward. Our grand daughter is now his number one fan. Two years old and she can't wait to visit us. She sits for hours watching this wonderful comedian and all his antics. We can't pry her away from the "telly". "Mr. Bean Grandma - Mr. Bean!"

Mr. Atkinson, if you're out there Alexis H. is deffinantly you're number one fan and oh, by the way, please could you do a few more new episodes? I've seen the Best Bits of Mr. Bean about 1000 times. Please just a few new ones for Alexis!

Bean is delightful and funny all his episodes will make you laugh.

Money well spent. Fun for the whole family.

4.0 out of 5 stars Be read for more than an hour of Mr. Bean, April 24 2003

I think I know why that don't show the epoisdes that appear in this time in thier entire. I think they are showing tham in bites, because they want to show more than 1 or 2 espoides and they want to keep them sort of time, so they decided to show them in bites. As the video opens, Mr. Bean (Rowan Atkinson) and his teddy bear as gone up to the attic. They want to go outside and it is raining outside. And they find some stuff that reminds them off earlier epoides. The clips in this tape include Mr. Bean waking up and fidning a note with teeh and the time of 9:00, to remind him that he has a dentist apointment and he has to rush because it is almost 9:00, he changes from his pajams into clothes in his car and puts on his pants, while driving with his feet on the steering wheel, when he gets a turkey stuck on his head on Christmas day, and when he visits a pool. If you love these any epodies, but are angry that they shown in bites, or never seen these epoides and want to see the whole thing may suggest to try to find them on video tape or dvd. If you love shows or movies about non-American people that are ficinal or love Mr. Bean, then you watch Harry Potter.

Pure comedy fun from a true comedic genius. There isn't anyone funnier than rubber faced Rowan Atkinson who is todays Buster Keaton and Stan Laurel all wrapped up in one package.

4.0 out of 5 stars Only one flaw..., Feb 3 2003
By
It's a paradox. You see, the flaw is that it's merely pieces of the greatest British comedy show ever, which leaves you sadly craving more (which I guess was the point of it's production). It can only be a few pieces, you see, because it's a single DVD containing the supposed "Best Bits" of the original show. My question is, how can you label any bits the "BEST" when it comes to Mr. Bean? Every second of every show is absolutely hilarious, and I cry and scream while laughing every time I watch Rowan Atkinson as Mr. Bean and his side-splitting antics. There is real talent in a comedian who can do a show this golden while hardly uttering a word. Indeed, his great facial and bodily expressions along with ingenious plot twists and misadventures makes this stream of consciousness flawless, from the pilot episode to the show's finale. How can we take a few snapshots of that stream and call them the "best"? You can't!

Long story short, the DVD is great. I laughed the entire time, but it left me dissatisfied and wanting more. Though there was a time restraint on this DVD, I wanted it to go on and on. That's the ONLY reason I don't give "Best Bits" a perfect 5-star rating. Great, hilarious, mind-boggling entertainment for anyone.

2.0 out of 5 stars Christmas is not complete..., Nov 24 2002
By A Customer
Part of our Christmas tradition is watching "Merry Chritams Mr. Bean." Unfortuantely, this DVD includes only part of that classic episode. It's back to the VHS "Merry Mishaps of Mr. Bean" for another Christmas. How disappointingly analog.

I love Mr Bean as you can tell by the nick I use. The problem is this isn't the full series. This is simply a bunch of bits from the other shows put together in a jumble. If you love Bean get the full series which is now out on DVD.

4.0 out of 5 stars wait for the series, Aug 1 2002
By A Customer
this is a great dvd, but it's not the regular series. they don't sell them on the American ..., but the series is on sale on DVD on the French .... Just scroll down to the bottom of this page to the very bottom and click on the French link. the only problem is that it'd be overseas and you'd have to use Euros. But they do have them for sale in france, why not here?????????
